First 3 km are good for strollers and bikes. But is boring till you get to the canyon.

The scenery on the way up this trail and back down were quite amazing. There were wet portions where creeks/water were running through the trail but just had to step over it, there was a few patches of snow but quite easy to maneuver through. Definitely recommend to go to the viewpoint it’s not much further than the teahouse. The trail was uphill quite a bit, we do not hike regularly but really enjoyed it and will definitely do it again! Loved the teahouse atmosphere.

Was a great trail, I ended up going to Lake Agnes first then up to the Little Beehive. Would strongly recommend going to the little beehive especially, gorgeous views of the lake. Getting up to the big beehive was a bit challenging with lots of uphill sections. Make sure to arrive at the trail head early- I arrived at 8am on a Saturday and parking lot was already full.

Fantastic views and a fantastic walk. Not to hard or easy and great for a four paw furry companion to join. A must if your in Banff!

Awesome hike. If you want to access the facilities above and ride the gondola down, buy a round trip gondola pass if you are willing to throw away half the ride, then hike up. That's the only work around. Otherwise bring your own snacks!

Really enjoyed this one today. You will respect the dragons back by hiking it if you were always used to seeing it from the Banff area. No snow on the route. Make sure to bring a good supply of water. I had to share mine with a few hikers.

Great trail. Great view. Some very steep parts. Return was easy. Enjoy the view at the top, both sides. View of Mount Rundle is spectacular.

An extremely easy and short trail! Like other reviews have stated, it does get very busy. Trail conditions were perfect; I should have worn my runners instead of my hiking boots, haha! We went in the morning and explored the Banff Avenue afterwards.

Too many mosquitos. Decent view at the top but only forest on the way up.

Started at 9am and had no issues parking. Got to the PoSG tea house before 11 for lunch and then went and watched some avalanches. On the way to the St Agnes tea house, I veered up to the top of the Big Beehive. Definitely a switch back grind but I greatly enjoyed it and the views were marvellous! From there, there’s a short path down to the lake and the tea house - which was swamped with people by then. Made my way down to mirror lake for a short snack and was back to the car by 5pm. A GREAT day exploring one side of Lake Louise!

Lovely trail in the forest with a few spectacular views. The trail had some traffic on it but was not over crowded; which was lovely. Very gradual and smooth trail which also seemed great for mountain bikers !

Wonderful hike. 2/3 the way up there is snow in one portion that is a bit tricky to navigate. Not a big deal. Slipped once! A little bit of mud. Started a 7:30am. Pretty empty. Lots of people on the way up as we were coming done. Recommend definitely. Difficult to socially distance on the way down. Mask would have been helpful.

Well worth the trek to the top. Bugs for first 1/4. As said in other reviews, more of a moderate difficulty than hard.

Woooow!!!! Environ 2:30 pour monter et 1:30 redescendre. Parfois le chemin est dure à trouver. Nous sommes en bonne forme physique et la dernière heure nous devions faire plusieurs petites pauses. La descente est difficile pour les pieds.

Really nice trail, well maintained. Doable in runners. Completed it in 2 hours, with plenty of stops for pics. If you don’t plan on doing tbe trek back down, purchase your tickets online in advance, the day before it was $56, the day of, it was $62. Prices fluctuate. If you’re an Alberta resident they have a residence rate. The down is portion can be very hard on your knees if that’s a problem for you. The top observation decks can get very busy and hectic. Beautiful scenery though. Worth the hike.

Not moderate. Not trafficked beyond the people going to the falls. In fact, not a trail at all. -Karen
