Beautiful easy trail with stairs the whole way up! The view of Moraine Lake is worth being with all of the crowds!

This hike is beautiful and definitely worth it, but because we read the comments beforehand, we thought we had to cross the river. You don’t actually have to do this!!!! The trail is just marked very poorly. So, the first part of the trail is extremely muddy. Once you get to the river, you see a sign that has a hiker with a backpack on it that points to you crossing the river.... Instead of doing this, which leads you to the campsite, look to your left and follow that trail. That is the trail that all trails follows and it will lead you directly to the lake..

We only did the paved part of the trail which is really cool.

Best trail due to hardly any people. We were on the trail at 10 am. We went a little farther than the map and to the right. Then You can see the hoodoos. The last part of the trail is by a noisy road. The rest of the trail has different landscapes. Beautiful moss colored forest floor, meadows, and a great view of bow river with the mountains. We saw lots of elk dropping’s but no elk.

Beautiful path, ideal for short legs when traveling on the Icefields Parkway. Not too demanding, overwhelming views of the glacier. It took us about two and a half hours to get there and back. No break because it was just too cold and very windy ...

Only did part of this and then got turned around by a sign saying you must have bear spray to continue. Wish that sign/warning was more prevalent before we started. Would have been good I think!

Super crowded trail come early if you want to get parking and see the falls without standing in line. Otherwise a family friendly trail easy.

I enjoyed this hike but it is a very busy trail!

The trail allows dogs, however, there are many parts where there are big boulders, specifically at the end. My dog struggled in these areas and without going through you will not be able to see the lake.

A bit muddy after some rain yesterday, but a great short hike. Pretty steep switchbacks at the beginning but overall not too difficult.

Pretty scenery and waterfall but far too crowded for my liking. Should have known by the parking lot.

Great trail. Give yourself some time if going with kids. Went fairly early and no mosquitos! Very nice

This is a must if you are okay with getting up at the crack of dawn! We got to the parking lot at 5:30am and we got the second to last parking spot, no joke. The easy trail gives you amazing different views of the lake that you can't get anywhere else. Well worth the early start.

Tried to hike this 3 different times. Once at 645 am. Tried at 1:30 pm and again at 5:30 pm. The lot is always full. The bus ride line was too long. We opted out. I don’t think there is anything prettier than Peyto lake on Icefields parkway.

Very crowded but the views from the Little Beehive were amazing. Bring lots of water.

So breathtakingly beautiful from the top! A must do

So beautiful with every turn and changes with every shift of the clouds and sun

Very crowded but also very beautiful. We paid the $10 fee to park right in the lot but the roadside was lined with cars for a long distance

This short hike was a great break from the car and the depth of the water’s cut into the rock was amazing.

Trail had nice views up the canyon until pretty much the very end. The trail ended away from the water with no view in the middle of the woods.

Beautiful! I would recommend it anytime! Even in the rain it was worth it! It’s an easy path and the ratio effort VS reward is great.

This is a great trail for families. It’s roughly paved all the way to the upper falls. Would recommend the trail all the way to the ink pots. The view is incredible! Path/bridges are a bit narrow at times but it’s definitely still accessible. Would recommend this hike!

Started around 9am on a weekday. No problem finding a parking spot. Definitely go all the way up to the inkpots!

It was a nice nature walk, but not a hike. Perfect for families, children, and those who can’t hike much elevation. we got to the Upper Falls and had to wait in a 20 minute line in order to even see it. Takes the awe out of it for sure. We took the walk though, so waited in line! If we had the time, we would have kept walking to the ink pots, but unfortunately had to head out. Whole thing with the line took us an hour and 15 minutes.

Pretty easy trail (although not for many tourists) with greats views at the end (of the lake). Too many people though! Did the Little Beehive which was worth it (for the incredible views of the entire valley).

Friendly and fast hike despite the world - some corners to rest near the lake and enjoy the view.

Rocky trail but well carved. Steep and narrow in some parts for a beginner like me but well worth the hike. The reward at the end view of the falls and scenery is breathtaking.
