Did this hike 10/27 in the direction shown here plus made stops at Little and Big Beehive. To get the Big Beehive the route through Lake Agnes was snowed in. The path disappears on the side of Lake Agnes and throughout up the side of the Mountain to get to Big Beehive. Thank god for these 2 strangers who were just as crazy and brave to motivate me to keep going. It was my first time here and I didn’t want the snow to deter me so I took it slow and always checked All Trails that I am at least on the path shown on the GPS even though it wasn’t visible infront of me.

Quiet, snow covered, not too slippery! No spikes needed.

This exact routing plus the beehive lookout took us around 4 hours (pictures didn't help the timing) and was around 12.75 km according to my watch. Was a moderate hike due to the snow for a novice hiker like me ^^.

Gorgeous trail, so many rewards along the way. Teahouses were awesome treats. Really fun to see the Fairmont from the top to understand your accomplishment! The hike was closer to 20km for the full loop, especially if you go up the ridge to the glacier lookout point.

Oct 11, 2020. Summited peak in winter conditions along with several white outs. The winds were quite nasty. There is no scrambling on this one just a plod up loose rocks.

Good hike. Went to Agnes tea house, then big beehive and then to 6 glaciers look out. smooth trail the whole way. Just over 20km total distance. Was fun.

Trail running. Would likely have been gorgeous but don’t expect there to actually be an OXO-route. There isn’t. Basically it’s along a drainage or bushwhacking until you get past that point. We changed the plan after that point and did molar pass instead. Stunning area for sure though!! We just needed to run the route faster in a day so couldn’t tolerate the slow nature of that drainage. Fine if you were hiking and didn’t have to worry about time or length.

Parking lot was fuller than we suspected this late in the season. 11AM arrival cut it close. Busy trail to Agnes Lake - packed teahouse on a nice day. Trail to Plains of 6 was much less frequented... and the additional 1.3 to the glacier was worth it. Blustery up there to say the least - the weather can change quickly so plan for both sun and rain. So glad we did it. forgot to turn of the recording... so drive home bettered our time :)

Great trail. Mirror lake and Lake Agnus are a must see. Tea at the tea house in the morning is a nice treat sitting in the deck. The views from Little Bee Hive (if you take the detour) and Big Bee Hive are pretty spectacular and I was lucky as it was a blue bird day with no wind. Make sure you make time and extend the trip to check out the Plain on 6 Glaciers tea house. Worth the extra hike. I started at 7:00am and it’s beautiful to be up top to see the sunrise over the valley.
