Went today from a quick hike. 25 minutes drive from South East Calgary. I ran into 4 people only so it was ideal for someone looking to escape from the city. great views and lots of cows along the path a bonus.

Good hike! My day was chilly with hoarfrost so no view for us. Guess I’ll hafts go back

Nice and easy trail with a few steeper inclines. Best to do it later in the day to watch the sun setting on top of the rolling hills

Nice walk around. A bit of trees to walk through. The trail path we chose ended with a steep uphill at the end.
We went Aug 22, 2018.

an unexpectedly stunning "walk" through aspen groves, rolling hills and gullies only 10 mins west of the Calgary city limit.

Honestly was really pleasant with the spectacular view of the rolling hills, blue skies with big bright clouds, the soothing wind, all of it was great, definitely offers a different experience Compared to mountain hiking, would suggest 10/10 for anyone looking for a quick get away. Easily accessible too.

What wonderful and peaceful natural setting. We enjoyed our hike and incredible views in almost all directions along Fescue Trail. I imagine that winter hike would be even more enjoyable on these trails. . Can't wait

We haven't done this hike in a few years but plan on going back. I've done it several times. The last time I went was with my sons, who were ages 4 and 6 at the time. Great hike for them. We went in the fall and it was perfect. Forested, beautiful meadows, great views.

This is such a peaceful place to hike. It is very quiet and serene with beautiful views of the mountains and farmland. I saw several hawks on my walk today.

We hiked the fescue loop today. Saw quite a few mule deer, bugs and birds. Bathroom stops along the way which was nice. A pretty easy 5km through the Alberta grasslands (although you're basically walking through a cut path surrounded constantly by cow poop). A few little steep parts but nothing too challenging.
