Hiked from Honeymoon Pool and started along the Jabitj Trail to Wellington Dam. This section of the hike was by far the most scenic part along the river. Well marked trail and not too difficult, with a few obstacles and steep sections. At Wellington Dam took the Sika Trail past Potters Gorge, which has been burnt out recently in some parts but is still easy to navigate. Continued onto the Munda Biddi Trail to River Road. The rest of the hike is along River Road back to Honeymoon Pool, which is the least enjoyable part - be wary of vehicles as there is no path. Overall clocked 21.1km (including some slight detours). Patchy phone reception for most parts and only saw one other group.

Solid trail running area

Fantastic bush walk - challenging for small children at times, more of an obstacle course with fallen trees, but a great view the whole time

great ride, stunning scenery on the river, riding back up really tests the fitness, can be a long hard ride if unfit

Scenery is stunning as you cruise along. Then you have a hard climb going up Millbrook drain.
