very nice hike. going anticlockwise is a good idea of you want a workout going up the hill.

Wonderful trail- despite the really quite hideous hill at the beginning! The views and abundant wildlife more than made up for it!

Good track but gets vague around the top of the loop. Lost it a couple of times. Be careful on the way down as the path has loose stones which slip/roll under your feet.

WalkingGreat!

Trail was great, very busy at the start and quiet as we started to climb... Followed it to a T. The last loop at the top lacked directions, seems not many people do that extra bit, and we kind of got off track a fair bit. It is part of the fun! It extended the walk by an extra km... no big deal. Just check your app, it’s very responsive so it ll show you exactly where you go wrong! The way down was a bit slippery on small rocks, especially right after you reach the back of the two homes, after that turn it’s slippery! ( fell and cracked my screen!!) highly recommend it regardless of the hiccups! Good effort and worth the drive. Perfect day for it!! Our golden retriever LOVED it! I’ll be back! Ps: very disappointed to see empty plastic bottles, tissue, and people leaving their dogs poops on bags by the side of the trail?? Assuming « someone » will collect??? People pick up after yourself. This was a real wake up call! Let’s protect our amazing nature!

A really enjoyable hike with varied terrain. Butt burning hill after the Syd's Rapids turnoff. Some good fitness required. Love starting and ending at the water. A great way to spend an afternoon. The trail not busy at all on a Saturday.

HikingGreat!Rocky

This was an awesome trail! There are two sections that are quite a steep climb but honestly worth it. The view is phenomenal, with a lovely walk around the rapids at the end. Lovely place to have a picnic at the end/start. Definitely would recommend and would re do myself.

Lovely walk along the rapids to start with then there came the steep climb upwards. very rewarding to make it up to the top and great views of the rolling green hills.

Really good trail. It is hilly and a little steep. Make sure you wear at least a sturdy pair of runners with grip. Don’t take a five year old unless you are prepared to get a good workout with them on your shoulders up inclines. Very nice scenery, saw a few kangaroos hopping around the grass trees and there’s a point with a nice view of the city.

Went reverse, and the rapids were gorgeous. It was good to get the really steep climbs out of the way early. Spectacular views and wildlife

straightforward trail with plenty of viewpoints. good signage also means you’d never lose your way. realistically, someone with average hiking fitness could do it in less than 3 hours fairly comfortably.
