I attempted this trail on Saturday, although the 8km Werribee Gorge Loop is fine as a moderate to easy hike, the additional, western loop up to Falcons Lookout is now closed and completely inaccessible.

This trail is good as a moderate circuit. However, don’t try to add on the loop to Falcons Lookout, the trail is washed away and no longer accessible. There are signs saying Keep Out but, they’re not obvious.

Really good intermediate hike. I loved the little bit of climbing involved, it made the hike a bit more challenging. The sound of rushing water and the amazing view of the green rolling hills was definitely worth the sweat

Great track!

Loved this trail! It provides a great combination of well formed track, with a rocky track and some wall scaling + rock climbing - so much fun! I’ll be back :)

An absolutely gorgeous short walk that will get the heart rate up. The rock formations and water course running alongside part of the track are beautiful. It was a very busy time at the climbing site on a perfect winter's day!

Great track with a bit of adventure when having to scale across rock walls with chains, really enjoyed it

We did the full trail this time. It was a bit muddy and slippery in parts but great fun. Especially the part along the gorge where you climb using ropes! It took us 2hours 40 walking casually.

Hiked the Werribee Gorge Circuit. Camped in the lower picnic area (toilets, fire pit, table, water tap didn’t work) told off by ranger in morning. Climbing at Falcons Lookout. 2x 12’s SQR variant 16. 14 crack on Northern wall, 17 bolted, Golgotha 18 offwidth crack. Heaps of people on the weekend!

Good trail! Busy on the weekends.

Took this "trail" last week, doesn't show on official park maps and for a good reason. Lots of the trail are a wild scramble with no obvious route other than following your GPS, with many areas marked as private property and going over dangerous and precarious paths such as crumbled cliff edges, steep footless climbs and thick waist height grass. Highly advise to avoid.

Was a great walk with some beautiful views, however the connecting portions are now private property and quite dangerous. We did still walk them, but it is hard to know where the track is at some points. Breathtaking views however, had a blast!

the track along the gorge is pretty and a bit adventurous, yet easy. nice hike about 60-90min drive from Melbourne, def worth a visit. the sign reads 10km, not 7.4km.

One of the best near Melbourne!

Great hike not too far from Melbourne. 3 - 4 hour loop. Busy on weekends.

enjoyable walk, not overly difficult

Can get busy on weekend but not really an issue.. medium fitness level would be required for this track as well as suitable footwear for rock scrambling. There is also a section that you need to climb over holding a rope. But it's not really too difficult. bring lots of water as there is only water located at 2 of the carparks. and none on trail.
