Excellent well maintained trails, forest terrain is a great change from the usual bush tracks. Steep at the start will be testing but more than manageable for anyone with a degree of fitness, after that it’s all much easier as you travel the rim between the three peaks, before the steep descent (watch the rocks and footing here). The tall tree canopy during the majority of the hike makes it great for most weather conditions
Highly recommended

moderately hard

Worthwhile walk, enjoyed the sights. Enjoyed the pub at the end. Lots of rocks in sections and trail in the shade most of the way.

Moderate-Hard trail. Very steep incline and declines occasionally, but beautiful trail. Viewing point at the top has a great view.

Some food for thought - my boarder collie picked up a “bush tick” here last Sunday.
I would suggest being proactive & using a tick prevention prior to bringing your dog up here.
With 2 vet visits ($175 + $160) and the threat of a full shave and further medication ($1000) in the unlikely, but possible, event that it was a paralysis tick, I would say it’s better to be safe than $335 - $1500 poorer.
