This is a regular track I do most weeks for fitness. I usually carrying weight 10-15kg as part of my training. The weight makes it more challenging than it already is. Best time without weight was 23:52 mins to the top. With weight about 35-45 mins. Great views at the top and so much quieter than the thousand stairs

.Awesome walk except for crowds don't even think about doing it weekends if you're fit doing it 2 or 3 times is a good work out

Steep incline and decline in the valley at the southern end of the track, full of ancient Australian flora and beautiful fauna throughout. Close to suburbs so houses can be seen and cars heard on some parts of the track, there are tourists a plenty on some parts of the track and parking is scarce. All round a good hike worth doing!

Not worth going there. The waterfall is really really small and it was very crowded.

Hard to follow the track in parts, not good in the wet or at night. But a lot of fun, a challenging walk for such a short distance

Solid outing if you get there before the trek gets busy. If busy, I would avoid like the plague.

when I was getting a good warm up the trail was over.. so it is not really hard its moderate.

Great workout, challenging incline. Takes approx one hour up and back. We did lyrebird track up and 1000 steps down, which is better as lots of people to dodge on 1000 steps.

Recommend getting there early as by 10am the place is jam packed and no parking except up the road.

Best view from the top! Hard but worth it trail

Nice short track with elevation but way too many people.

One of the few tracks easily accessible on public transport.

Definietly not moderate - much harder than the 1000 steps but I’d do it again - it was cloudy so no views :(

Tor: A moderately short, but beautiful, narrow, rainforest trail which serpentines its way up along a modest creek. With an almost garden-esque feel, stone stairs climb ever steeper, interpolated by short stretches of flatness and a couple of benches along the way. A few fitness fanatics will likely elbow past you as you take in the surroundings and ubiquitous, ambient bird chatter. MaryKay: When you get to the top, keep going up to One Tree Hill via the remembrance memorial signs...the kookaburras were plentiful on the hill and totally unfazed by us. We had three feeding and singing around us, hopping on the ground searching for worms within several feet.

Love the ranges - so many beautiful hikes

Definitely a must in Melbourne!

Not moderate, hard, I've had people tell me this is harder than the 1000 steps, we will say this track starts from the bottom of glasgow road, everyone parks at the bottom for it, the hike isnt easy, as it is nothing but uphill, it starts off night and easy, then it becomes a real grind until the final few minutes of the walk. once you're at the 'top' turn right for the lookout, the view is stunning.

Love the 1000 steps. Always a great cardio workout

Love it. Good cardio.

I love this climb up the side of Mt Dandenong. Definitely a hard climb though and a suggestion to go down Zig Zag track for an easier and safer descent

Nice trail, I’ve been several times and find that it’s always filled with tourists, definitely not a hard hike

great walk such beautiful scenery quite tough if your not fit water at bottom and top

amazing walk very scenic

Good track but lots of people

Great steep fitness walk/run, can get crowded, very popular! Seen even families with little kids going up :)
