I did this hike last week. It has been re done following rockslides in 2018 and re-opened this year. Very easy to follow, beautiful views the whole way along. On the way back I made it into a loop along the hunters and Lenah valley track. Took 3 hours taking it easy. Had a coffee at the cafe at the end

Very steep towards the top but very much worth it.

starts out as a standard fire trail and follows the river / creek up into the bush and to the falls. definitely visit after some rain. can take a shortcut back on the way down via the super steep main fire trail. good track though!

Took the Old Hobartian Trail to Hunters Track then onto Junction Cabin, starting and finishing on Lenah Valley Track. Nice 8km loop, with moderately steep climb and a couple of rock screes, kept it interesting.

Fabulous walk, if you are expecting Niagara Falls go to Niagara Falls or head up here after some decent rain. Beautiful Tasmanian bushland, well maintained trail and a pretty easy hike, only 15 minutes from Hobart!

Awesome track with lots of variety, lots of small streams and great spots to take a break. I went to the pinnacle from the zigzag trail which has great views. Watch out as the 2nd part of hunters trail is very rocky which got slippery after rain. Oh, and bring warm clothes to the pinnacle. cold.

Caught a bus to Fern Tree, this hike is a another great challenge. Steep and muddy in sections with exposed areas. Awesome scenery and views of the city.

A nice half day walk close to Hobart - starts with a steep climb before reaching some spectacular boulder fields toward the summit of kunanyi/Mount Wellington. Offers great views over the entire south east of Tasmania but is very exposed to the weather, so come prepared.

Not an impressive waterfall.

Quite a decent hike. Followed the path until that last section (Middle Track was closed for maintenance) so we just went the way we came in. The South Wellington track across the top had some larger rocks on the way down and required a bit of navigating. Amazing views from the top of Mt Wellington. Would be challenging after rain and hiking boots were absolutely required. Took us about 5-5:30hrs to complete

loved doing this trail. Although allow more time. it took my 7 hours return

Did a half round: took the bus from hobart city, startet at Fern Tree, with blade Track to Springs carpark. From there it was the pinnacle way and Zig-Zag way to the summit. It took approx. 2hrs. For way down we continued the pinnacle road for a bit, took the panorama track down, it joins the organ pipe track, again further down on pinnacle road. Later we took the swanmill track (higher and lower part), passed the Sphinx lookout (very nice views and maybe you can see rock climbers here. At the end of lower swanmill track (be aware of a lot downhill walking

easy traileri, not much of a fall

A good solid walk. My Master 8 manages fine. But wear proper boots on the Zig-Zag track and be prepared for steep inclines which are slippy when wet.

Excellent hike with a variety of terrains. Beautiful views of Hobart and the bays along the way. Fantastic views at the summit. Quite busy on the way up but much quieter on the way down.
