Lovely easy and beautiful hike.. recommend for beginners and people who want to take kids ( although under strict supervision as there a few exposed sections up top..nothing to dangerous though) heaps of steps as well and varied plant and bird life.. Went on a rainy day so there were no views at all but on a clear day the views would be amazing...

Great views, beautiful afternoon through the rainforest.

Absolutely amazing views.. relatively easy going and plenty of wildlife. Highly recommend this hike.

Great views, easy track and awesome weather

Nice easy grade hike with lots of switch-backs. Some very nice views out around Bare Rocks.

Great views from the top and worth the steeper climb towards the end. Was less busy than Mt Cordeaux.

Great walk and surprisingly not too steep, considering the impressive views from the top.

Be prepared to walk up hill! It’s beautiful. Go to Bald rock and soak up the views while you refuel. It’s all downhill from there ;-)
We saw three Lyrebirds along the way!

Very nice winter time walk, was very fresh in the rainforest, but not too cold with long pants & a light jacket on. Definitely would get muggy & uncomfortable to do in the summertime I feel. Really pleasant views & lots of interesting different trees the whole way, but the views at the top were absolutely stunning. took about an hour up & an hour down for this part of the hike, however we went on further to Bare Rock another extra 45 mins up & back & it was so worth the extra km, the view got even better!

Nice slow walk, very windy depending on which side of the mountain you are on. All marked trails, at times can be pretty narrow, easy to accomplish. Nice views from the top :)

Good basic trip to the top awesome views a good one for people wanting to see what the fuss is about

Good trail, a bit slippery at times (due to lose soil), moderate intensity, a few interesting things to see on the way to the top. Windy peak with fabulous views. Bring some snacks to share at the top, rocky surface to sit on and enjoy the scenery... ✌

Lovely walk. Not difficult in terms of skill level but is a long walk up and good to get the blood pumping. Can be done with kids. The look out is beautiful however please note you cannot actually go up to the peak as that is closed. Worth the extra 40 minutes or so to go to Bare rock as the views from there are better.

Fantastic easy hike with great eastern views. Well signed and a well worn trail. We went up on a winter morning and it couldn’t have been better. Blue bird day and the perfect temp. Definitely recommend this one if you’re taking someone new to hiking. The trip to Bare Rock is well worth it to see the range to the north in all its glory!

Great hike, lots of leeches when it rains

This info is incorrect. Mt Superbus is in Queensland not NSW. White Swamp is in NSW . The Lincoln bomber is also much safer to be reached from Emu Creek Rd. There is a camping area and information centre at the end of Emu Creek road which starts near Emu Vale Qld. These are contact numbers if you wish to go this trail, this way you can know before you get there wether it is safe to travel. These areas are prone to sudden weather changes and bush fires. Park Rangers have removed this track from local maps because it is dangerous and have had to rescue people from this area. 0402002337 or 0746648053

One of my favourite views. Enjoyable hike, not difficult at all.

I was living for 2 years in Brisbane Australia. My friend Matt took me on this hike...it was one of the best hikes I have ever done. The views were amazing and the hike was challening. Make sure you take plenty of water as there is no water source on the top. It was very rainy on the way up but cleared with an unbelievable rainbow. You can camp further back to the NNE but you must get an approval permit through the parks department. Finding the fuselage of the Arvo LIncoln Bomber was surreal. It was well intact and there was a memorial that described the event. I highly recommend reading about the crash before you head out...it will make it a more somber and appreciative experience. This is a pretty good site for information:

You can do this hike year round...MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE WEATHER!!! You don't want to get caught out on a bad day.

A great walk with amazing views at the top to reward you for your efforts. It's not an overly difficult walk but the trail does get a little harder near the top.
