Crater Lakes National Park in inland Queensland. It was established, as the name suggests, around two old volcanic craters that are now lakes: Lake Barrine and Lake Eacham. The lakes are surrounded by rainforests that are home to many bird species. There are also trails that will allow you to walk all the way around the lakes and enjoy the beautiful scenic views that are offered to you. Boat tours are offered on the lake, and it is also a wonderful place for swimming.
