ran from otford to bundeena. parked car st otford station. 30km to bundeena ferry. 3 hours 50 mins running. went on a Sunday. bad idea. sooooooo crowded at bundeena end. would recommend a week day if possible. also ferry comes every hour. only on the hour takes cash only $7.10 however is one of the most spectacular scenic runs I've ever done. great for running as its on mainly boardwalks or beach. if your looking for a challenging adventure this is not the trip as its really spelt out for you. however super safe and I'd say an easy yet long run. you could def walk in a day. however leave at first light.

Trail was wonderful.. good mix between waking track, Rocky trail (fire trail) and bush path. Keep in mind that bush path was quite muddy but not too bad.. wedding cake rock barricaded and can only take photos from a distance due to safety precautions and structure may give way at any time. Well worth doing.

Very easy track.

We started from the coastal walk entrance and went down the Jibbon track towards Shelly Beach. We should have headed down to the beach further to keep going to the point but we went through the inland track to the beach and walked right to the point via the Aboriginal carvings and doubled back along the beach. We took the track just before the end of the beach that took us straight back down to the beginning of the track where we started. I uploaded a pic as I forgot to start my recording. The beginning of the Jibbon track has toilets and the track is very sandy til Shelly Beach. It’s also quite muddy in places til you get to the beach. Stunning views from a small detour just before Shelly beach and from the point. The beach has crystal clear water and very quiet but it is winter even if it was a stunning day. Parking wasn’t easy with lots of people doing the Coast Track but it didn’t take long before someone came back to their car.

Great hiking option. I would not consider the hike moderate as there is a lot of ups and down without proper stairs. Good idea to follow the direction of the map, as it would be way harder in the other way. Once you reach the river it is tricky to find the path to continue and in Audley you have no signal, so ensure you take a several screenshots of the route. If you have knee problems this hike is not recommended.

Got a bit lost but ended up at the back of Grays Point and back up again

Daily park charge of $12. Amazing walk. Started at 3pm and enjoyed the sunset views on the way back. Took just under 2hrs. Lots of stairs at the start!

Lovely ocean views and fairly easy to walk. You can avoid the crowds along the coastal track but still get to see the Wedding Cake Rock and beautiful Marley Beach. Some parts were quite flooded(depending on weather) and your shoes get a bit wet. But overall a nice walk!

It was a amazing track and definitely worth it

Warning : do not take the looped road back from the marley beach viewpoint if it has been raining heavily the night before! It is pure waterlogged and you'll have gone too far to turn back and will have to brave the ankle deep waters for the last kilometer! Just walk back through the same route you took towards wedding cake rock. I've taken a pic of the flooding Marley beach is spectacular. Wedding cake rock not so much. Superb walk and really is very scenic. Not 8km though, closer to 14km, took 3 hrs for us (including a a further walk into marley beach and a splash in the icy water!)

Great views and walk! The Marley trail side was a bit muddy/ flooded after a few days of rain. The coastal trail was perfect!

Great track! The coast walk is really easy. The walk into Deer Pool is a bit more challenging, especially since it was wet, but definitely worthwhile! Beautiful and varied scenery, flora and fauna.

there are much nicer walks in the area the track is a unpaved road lots of lose rocks, lots of road noise the scenery is ok but nothing to make you want to stop and admire
