We had the best day for our hike. It was a beautiful sunny winter day. I found the way up quite hard with lots of “steps” but absolutely manageable! The view on the top was absolutely amazing! Definitely will do it again. We did it in 3 hours and 30 min return.

Wonderful up hill walk for the most amazing views over the valley and back towards Tuggeranong. Probably my favourite walk so far in our very under rated and beautiful Namadgi National Park! We even accidentally found a geo cache while at the peak which added to the fun.

Recommend three days for this one or a very early start to get to Cotter flats before lunch and set up camp to attempt the peak in the afternoon. Two day Hike - Day 1 35km, Day 2 15km. Three Day Hike - Day 1 15km, Day 2 20km, Day three 15km. Trail conditions for the bush bash section to the peak were icy so aim to have this complete before the sun gets too low (May-sept).

Loved this trail, highly recommend. There were quite a few people (saturday) but a nice hike with amazing views from the summit.

This is easily my favourite training ground in Canberra. The climb to the summit either from the visitor centre or Apollo Rd will be challenging and entertaining as well with plenty of wildlife along the course. If you are training for races with hard climbs, this suits you. Do not hesitate to do climb repeats!

Challenging climb towards Mt Tennent summit but you’ll get a reprieve along Bushfolds Flat. If you dread stairs and steps from the visitor centre towards the summit, try starting from the fire trail from Apollo Rd. This is perfect training ground for races with arduous climbs. Beautiful trail and wildlife abound!

great hike. good challenge and stretched the muscles. nice quiet track.

I loved this trail and would highly recommend walking from the campground instead of driving to the car park. It is very peaceful and well worth your time..

I would highly recommend this trail, I walked from the honeysuckle campground and I thought it was well worth it. The views at the top are amazing and it is definetly a great walk to do.

Awesome trail- worth the steep hike in spots for an amazing view! Also offers two different summit points both with great views!

great short trail. spectacular cliffside views of the surrounding mountains and Canberra.

Amazing view at the top, worth the hike up. Would go again in a second!

Amazing, simply beautiful

Longer than expected from the campsite but a good walk with a great view at the end.

Awesome view over Canberra

First place I ran in the ACT and got a light dusting of snow, very technical track and steep, great workout if done in under 2 hours

Enjoyed this walk on a sunny and clear winter's day... expansive views from the summit. Saw almost no-one on the way up (on a week-day), but two large school groups were on the summit. https://hikingtheworld.blog/2018/08/30/mount-tennent-namadgi-np/
