Absolutely stunning! Combined with the most incredible fall foliage (end of March), this was the best day hike I've ever done. If you're near El Calafate, take the 3 hour trip north. You won't regret it.

To get to the actual lagoon, this is a moderate hike. I thought Laguna de Los Tres was way harder than this one. Phenomenal views all the way through, and the most peaceful, humble glaciers sit at the end if the time of the year offers it. I didn't get to see the spiky mountain peaks because of the clouds, but it was worth it anyway.

Absolutely stunning. For beginners (me) and acrophobic hikers (me), and depending on weather, this is not a completely moderate hike. It's much more difficult, slippery and dangerous in snow, rain, and high winds, which are the conditions we completed it in. The very last stretch during the final 2 kilometer climb is at a 45° angle, and was covered in maybe 1/2 a foot of fresh snow, then it closes with a steep hill of slippery rocks before finally seeing the lagoon. It is such a relief to see the lagoon. Ha. One of the most beautiful sights I'd ever seen.

Awesome hike. Beautiful the entire way. A mile almost straight up to the lakes but worth all the effort

Amazing hike. Definitely worth the 4 am wake up to get up in time for sunrise.

The best hike we have experienced. You will work hard in the last mile but the payoff is huge. Don't forget sunscreen!

This is a great hike. I consider it moderate, not hard, unless you have a guide to take you across the river to the glacier.
