This hike goes to 3 nice waterfalls. I went in February (the dry season) and the trail was in pretty good condition. It is muddy and slippery other times. Some steep sections and a short rope assist.

Great flowers. No birds or other creatures.

Private property with a $7 per person entry fee. Parking is difficult at best. Taxi and bus service available from Boquete.

This is a steep but rewarding hike that begins and ends at Kalu Yala and reaches the Monkey Mountain Peak, which overlooks both the Pacora River Valley and the Mamoni River Valley. The jungle village at Kalu Yala has a hostel and an outfitter if you want to arrange a guided hike. Please look at the information on the following website prior to driving (4x4 REQUIRED!) to Kalu Yala to begin this hike.

Gorgeous once you get into the jungle and the waterfall at the end is magic. Rickety bridge crossings and moderate elevation change makes this a great choice if you only have a day or two to hike in Boquete.

Nice moderate hike. About 1.5 miles up the trail is a quetzal nest that is a great spot for watching the male and female. See photos.

Not that interesting. Wouldn’t do it again it’s just a long path in the ocean.

This trail is near Boquete and locally called the "Pipeline Trail". It's 2.8 miles R/T, not 3.8. It takes about 1 hour and 10 mins in, less than an hour out. It follows a stream up to a box canyon where you will find the "Cascada Escondida" falls. The review by Ryan is about a different hike called "The Lost Waterfalls".

Suggest: 1. Removing this review and
accurately putting it under the correct trail. 2. Renaming this Trail "The Pipeline" not Boquete Waterfalls.

Multiple giant waterfalls make the end worth the effort. The climb is not too steep so moderate is a good description. The second waterfall
Requires climbing a wall with rope and is the hardest part.
