Nice hike where you will discover many cultural monuments. From the top of the Storaberget there is a wonderful view in all directions. In good weather conditions you can see Riskalandet, Lutsivassdraget as well as a great view to the sea and Ryfylkeheiene.Show more

Vårlivarden (387 msnm) is the highest peak between the Lutsivassdraget and Høgsfjorden. The view is impressive and offers a great view of Ryfylke and the peninsula of Stavanger. You can reach this beautiful peak from several places, we chose to go from Myrland, which has proven to be very common. The first hundred meters go on a narrow road towards a property, but in the end it ends up towards a private farm and signs show that you have two alternative routes up. There is not much difference in kilometers, but there is a big difference in the choice of route. If you choose the shortest on the right, you have to be a little mountain climber if you want to get up, you will not have to if you choose the route on the left.Show more
