Kjeranbolten is a boulder suspended 984 meters (3,228 ft) above Lysefjord. The rock was wedged in place in the year 50,000 B.C by a massive glacier and today is a popular tourist destination and an amazing viewpoint. You should expect to share the viewpoint with many other photo seekers who have made the trek. Older children can do this hike, but keep in mind that it is a strenuous hike and there are many ledges.
