Rocky trail, short but difficult, very slippery when wet I do not recommend under heavy rainfall. You do not see the Lysefjorden much during the hike but get some nice views along the way. The ultimate goal and reward is Kjeragbolten

Amazing hike!! Lots of ups and downs and very windy. Use the ropes! The boulder is massive and the view of the fjord is phenomenal!

Hikes not that hard! I did not leave the parking (not to pay 30 €) and the pat on the trail is not easily.

Stunning hike and the rock is a must for a photo op. Difficult trail and chains to guide you up steep rock for a good portion of the trip. Good lunch spot at the trailhead.

Difficult hike but the finale is spectacular and surreal. The climb is done with ropes. There is little shade and you are in the wind. We did it on September 18th and conditions were relatively good. I climbed with my 1 year old son in the baby carrier. Not easy but feasible!

Tough climb, but very satisfying when you finally make it.

Hiked up the first half with a headlamp, tented at the top for the night, then fished the hike to Kjeragbolten and back to the trail/restaurant parking lot in the morning. Going up the mountainsides and down into the valleys can take a lot out of you even on a shorter distance hike, but the views are immensely worth the trek (as life is ;]).

Today the weatherforcast was some rain nd wind. At higher levels it was sometimes cold and slippery Near the boulder te rain was gone and I could step upon it. The hike back was sometimes more difficult than the way to the boulder. Also a nice moment to meet other hikers.
