A fairly straight path leads to the top of this impressive mountain and gives you the typical fantastic view of the landscape of Lofoten. With a height of 740 meters, the peak is in the middle of the Lofoten peaks and gives a good day on the mountain. The trail begins at the top of the ski lift. At first it seems that you can climb straight up to the small peak in front of you, but the path winds gently around the western edge when it narrows towards the river that flows down from the mountain. After crossing the river and some less swampy sections, the trail gets steeper the further you go up the mountain.
The trail is unmarked, but is mostly in good condition. After climbing more than 600 meters, the trail will end on the top plateau on the west side of the mountain. From here it is now an easy walk up a mostly gentle slope before it reaches the rocky peak. Here it ends in a steep mountainside.
Enjoy the view to the east over Nappstraumen and over the northwest side of Vestvågøy.
