Views are incredible - mountains in every direction! Some spots on the route may be too treacherous to some, including one spot where you pull yourself up using a chain to climb on to the next ledge and you are right at the cliff edge as you do so. Definitely not for the faint of heart, or folks who don’t have significant difficult hiking experience. You can also do the climb to the first view point, and then head back down the same way (you can park in the lot). That gets you mostly the same views, without the chain climb sections. Show more

Easy and enjoyable hike to Geiranger Storsæterfossen Waterfall, of mostly natural steps and easy to follow, which offers the unique opportunity to walk under the Storsæterfossen waterfall.Show more

The trail is really steep, and is made up of steel ramps, gravel with roots, stone steps, and a few steel steps at the top. There are a few areas where the trail wrapped around the mountain with a steep drop to one side. Chains are available to hold on to on these areas. The steps at the top become really steep. There is a possibility of this trail being very slick during the rainy season. The view from the steel platform that extends out from the mountain is worth the effort. Above the platform at about 500m above sea level, helmets and ropes to go further are advised.Show more

Very scenice hike passing the Skageflå a remote mountain farm which is a good spot to overlook the Seven Sisters Waterfall. The hike can be very muddy and slippery after rain.Show more

Great views of the archipelagos. Wear your hiking boots if you have them. You may be able to skirt by without if necessary but take it slow and be cautious. It’s a bit deceiving with the top being set back and somewhat more gradual. Quick and easy hike for some beautiful views!Show more

Mount Aksla with the viewpoints Fjellstua and Kniven is one of Ålesund's greatest attractions. From here you have a fantastic view of the city, the unique island world in the area and the majestic Sunnmørs Alps beyond. The Fjellstua has a viewing platform and a cafeteria with tables outside during the summer.Show more

Quite a challenging hike to the top of Mount Keipen with a spectacular view of the Geirangerfjord. The path is clearly marked throughout. The trail begins with steep sections from the summer farm. Some easy passages and some nice cabins with great views before you make the last climb to the summit. The terrain can be very muddy and slippery after the rain. Even in summer there can be snow at the top.Show more

This is a short hiking trail that runs along the lower part of the waterfall that flows through the place. It is actually a very long staircase, because apart from a few short sections, the path only consists of steps.Show more
