Best trails in Norangsfjorden, Møre og Romsdal

This challenging hike starts with the steepest and shortest ascent to the top of the Slogen. Starting at about sea level you will reache the summit with an altitude of 1,564 meters after 3.3 km. During the ascent you have a phenomenal view towards Hjørungfjord, Norangsdalen and the majestic peaks that surround the valley. After about 1200 meters you are on the ridge that leads to the summit of Slogen. The plateau is airy and not particularly large, but offers an indescribably beautiful view of a green-blue fjord and the alpine, snow-capped mountains. Continue the trail to Patchellhytta. From here you will hike on the fastest and most challenging way back to Øye.The trail is easy to find and well maintained. Along its way you can enjoy the dramatic landscape with Slogen on the left and Store Smørskredtind on the right. Do not forget to turn around, because on the other side of the valley there is a fantastic view towards Jakta and Risenosa. Show more

This is the fastest and most challenging way to Patchellhytta. The trail is easy to find and well maintained. It goes straight up the birch grove. Along its way you can enjoy the dramatic landscape with Slogen on the left and Store Smørskredtind on the right. Do not forget to turn around, because on the other side of the valley there is a fantastic view towards Jakta and Risenosa. The last bit down in the valley there may be snow well into the summer, but it is not difficult to get there. Show more
