Partially completed this route. Hiked through the forest up to the NE Top and returned. Did not complete entire route as conditions were bitterly cold. Fantastic views on a clear winters day.
It was muddy and no clear paths. However, it was a scenic path and the view at the top was amazing. Don’t forget to bring extra socks and shoes.
I really enjoyed this walk. The trail is in good condition and it's impossible to get lost as it's just a loop. There's a nice mix of native species trees, but they're still young, the rest are conifers and there are large areas that have been harvested and replanted. Some nice views, and no phone signal, so if you want to get some peace that's handy. I'll definitely visit again.
Nice walk not difficult, i took my 5 month son out in a baby carrier so a nice easy route for the family. Would recommend and would revisit.
brilliant walk, full of natural beauty, as it is a nature preserve. There is a preserved wetlands that you can see the bugs and wildlife, plus wooded areas and fields. plus there is so much history to this area. I would highly recommend it to anyone, very kid friendly too!!
Good trial but poorly marked and distance not accurate as our GPS measured 17 km
Good walk on a good day. Entrance from a busy main road could be signposted better. Pathways are a bit rocky under the foot.
loved this walk
A great walk for all...
