Starting at Carricklittle car park follow the path into the Mournes until you arrive at the gate.  After a short walk along the Annalong Wood and follow the path straight ahead, crossing the stream continue towards the foot of Slieve Lamaghan (the view across the reservoir is worth the extra 100 meters walk).  Turn right and follow the trail to the summit of Lamaghan.  At the summit continue along the path heading down towards the saddle between Lamaghan and Cove.  Turn right and join the path heading along the boggy ground towards the Annalong river path.  Once at the base of the cliffs turn left until you pick the trail for the cave. Show more
