it is pretty good trail but have lots of stairs, however very well maintained and view is perfect.

Bridal Veil Falls is a stunning waterfall approximately 45mins drive from Raglan. The falls are 55 metres high and the Maori name Waireinga translates to ‘leaping waters’.

An easy walk with shags nesting and feeding their demanding fledglings. A bit muddy in the wet.

very nice view at the waterfall lots of beautiful trees Bush track is in good condition for hiking trails

Amazing trail. Good workout as it is a bit of elevation gain especially if you go all the way to the top. Once I got to the lower lookout I decided I had to make the trip to the top because it looks so amazing. Unfortunately it was pouring rain by the time I got to the top, no views to speak of as I was literally hiking in clouds on top of the mountains.

We did this in 2017 and loved it - very lucky to have clear weather to enjoy the forests, lakes and waterfalls, incredibly beautiful and a good challenging hike

Lovely place. Track steep in places but the falls are worth it. Awesome photoshoot spot

A short trail along an exceptionally tumultuous river and numerous waterfalls. People can frequently be spotted in organised tours floating by in yellow rafts.

Easy walk to (near) the base of the glacier. The track is really well maintained and great to walk on. If you're only stopping by in Franz Josef thus is a good little out and back walk to do.

Not worth the drive

thoroughly enjoyed this track. a few fallen trees just added to the fun of the journey

Easy. Nothing hugely noteworthy. Swimming in the falls not allowed.

Love this track. Did it on Christmas day for something different to do! Was a bit longer than expected, but an amazing walk and nice waterfall.

Did this in Nov 17, lovely track.. If you saw what on the NewZealand.com adv, it us what you will be seeing there. Fantastic sightseeing, but It was hard for me 4 days of walking, best to travel light and carry pain killer, just in case you need it for the sore feet. Wooly for the feet and Vaseline work best. But it is a once in a lifetime experience

A bit longer than expected but well worth it! Walked from Cooper Carpark to Ryde Falls and back, that added an hour and a half to the loop each way. Don’t do the trail when it rained as it gets very muddy. Great Forrest walk with a beautiful waterfall, or 2 at the end ;)

Nice hike close to Auckland - beautiful waterfall area to stop and take a nice long break

Rough track & practically all up hill but the sore glutes are well worth the amazing views from both the lower and upper look out! Amazing!!!

Great for a day with kids who can endure 3-4 hours (one way and return) on the trail. Muddy in places after rains, but it's not that bad. Very easy one way, if someone can pick you up at the other end. (There's easy car access and parking at both ends.) No toilets for 4 hours! Lots of birds around. Spectacular waterfall at Haruru Falls end. If you start at Haruru Falls, you can have lunch at Waitangi Grounds cafe, and go back the same way.

You must go to the top. Worth the effort as views are amazing !

Beautiful trek up, awesome views out over the Waikato

Beautiful views from the lookout!

Great walk. It was covered in snow and the track wasn't easily visible at the top.

steep climb back up from bottom of water fall to trail

suite for summer, not winter, because you have to across the water by barefoot, cold.
