Great trail and almost all paved. There is quite a bit of up and down, and a ton of stairs at the very end so those with knee issues should beware. If you continue on the shore, there is an old rope swing, too, that you can see from the hillside. The info center is a good stop if coming from the beach because there is shade, restrooms, and food/ice cream trucks. This is also where the public transit has a stop.
