wonderful hike. I left the Te Anau car park to the Luxmore summit, after the Hut. Go back down in the day! 8:30 in all but it was really beautiful!

Lovely Riverside walk on the flood embankment

Wonderful loop trail with great views over the estuary. Lots of birds. Boardwalk is amazing

Day 1 - 8.5 mi from Kepler Track car park to Luxmore hut for the night Day 2 - 3 mi up to Mt Luxmore summit then all the way back to the car park

Hiked from Brod Bay to Luxmore Hut and back. Stopped briefly for pictures and a quick snack. Saw a Kea!. Way up is a rough 1.5 hours

Popular but amazing. If a nice day JUMP IN!!!!

Easy walk through the forest. You can continue beyond the Blue Pools and walk along the river side. Fewer people and there's a spot to go down to the river

Waterfall makes it absolutely worth it. So gorgeous. Very muddy as you’d expect and loads of bugs but they make good company!

31/10/19- Walked to brod bay campsite and back. Was a great walk through Forrest like terrain with birds chirping and the lake in the background. 11.5km and just under 3 hours return, with a 20 minute picnic at the campsite.

Short path to an amazing water feature. Did this on a very rainy day and the streams were running hard and there were few people. Worth it!

It’s was very blue, love it

It's beautiful but kinda scary to do it at night if you are alone.

Great walk in the forest but the part after the waterfalls is blocked by trees that fell down.

Is this real blue? I am not sure. have been asking many ppl and there was no one has seen blue colour so far ha just go straight to Pukaki.

We completed this trail on July 22nd and there was no snow the entire way. Beautiful vistas and a wonderful hut at the end. There was drinkable water and a pit toilet. The trail is very well maintained.

Great walk, you have to expect the wet muddy conditions being a rainforest waterfall hike. Beautiful falls, well worth the trip in my opinion. It is a moderate walk.

good basic flat trail.

One of the shortest and most beautiful hike we could do in New Zealand !! The panorama is beautiful !!

If there are tours busses in the parking lot chill in the car until the leave, it will be much more pleasant of a walk without a bus full of people pushing you into the railing for a photo.

A must do.

Super short and easy walk to some beautiful views!

bridge out

Very nice trail! Lots of vegetation and mushrooms! I went on a rainy day and the trees offer pretty good cover. There were some big puddles on the trail, but nothing that can't be walked around. There was a tree down that has a marker on it, pretty easy to find the trail around it. There was also a bridge out, you can backtrack a little and use a log to get across the water instead. Bear in mind that you have to get through some brush to get back to the trail afterwards. I opted to turn back instead. I had a very leisurely 2 hr hike out to the defunct bridge and back including the nature loop at the start.

Really easy and quick walk to see that scenic place. I would recommend to go not too late or too early so that the sun shines on the blue pools. Really crowded which can be annoying. The water is really cold now.

Don’t go after raining.

Super easy quick walk, pretty busy though compared to most of the tracks I’ve done in NZ. pools are really pretty though! Worth the drive, that in itself is pretty. Try jumping off the bridge into the water!! Refreshing, to say the least

Cool chasm, very short hike, if you get here at the wrong time it’ll be full of busloads of people because it is on a boardwalk and easily accessible by anyone. This is not a hike it’s a very short walk!

Very pleasant track. It's 22 km from Iris Burn to Rainbow Reach car park, and it's doable in one day. Or you can stay at the Moturau hut. But it's just 6km from the hut to the first parking lot (Rainbow Reach). You go through various green areas: forest, wetlands. Very nice surroundings.
