Such a pretty, relaxing walk. So glad to be able to add this one to my list of regular walks. Loved it and bonus you can take a stroller/buggy!

Great little trail. Beautiful views the whole way. Not super challenging but we did it as part of our honeymoon and had a great morning. We did it last June so it started to get chilly so pack a warm jacket!

Rode bike from Cornwall park over to this trail. Pretty, in ok shape, almost nil traffic on trail. Bridge path to Mangere under construction.

Rando éprouvante car faite le lendemain de mon arrivé en Nouvelle Zélande. Super balade pour découvrir les points culminant de la ville. Possibilité de réduire la rando en prenant le métro à différent endroits.

Nice city trek that goes along the bays.

Mostly just neighborhoods, just go to Mt Eden and One Tree Hill, that’s good enough

Rewarding views, but not what I expected, as I personally enjoy something a little more technical and varied. Is essentially a constant up-hill to a nice little look-out point with benches. Trail is more or less a gravel road, and is in fine condition. Hiking boots not necessary - walking or running sneakers would be sufficient. I believe you can loop down to back into town, but I went back part of the way I came on Tobins to access the New Chums trail. Technically easy, but decently challenging in terms of physical fitness. No water or amenities, so bring your own.

Primo running trail. Almost entirely on crushed gravel surrounding the lake. Goes by bird conservation center and visitor center. Not much shade at 4:30 PM in Feb, so apply sunscreen!

Called “Lakeside Walk,” this relatively flat gravel path hugs the lake. It’s a pleasant trail run that starts at the Visitor Centre and ends at the Kepler Trail trailhead (which kicks off just past the dam). I recommend extending your trail run so you include a bit of the magical mossy forest of the Kepler Trail. It’s a dark and mysterious contrast to this spacious and (likely) windy jaunt.

Beautiful trail. You can walk right down to the seafront and then back up the steps. Gorgeous sea views, recommend going for sunset, evening. Stunning.

This is a nice easy walk, definitely a good walk if you are starting to increase your fitness.

Not a well marked trail and not all landmarks are well described. It is a good way to explore the city and wander through a variety of neighborhoods.

Davenport near Auckland, New Zealand

this is a beautiful walk, and easy! I would recommend bug repellent as we did get a lot of midgies.

Lovely walk, took about 1 hour 40, very friendly people on the trail, could also bike or bring a pram along, super flat, big wide paths

Another stunning day on the waterfront.

Not recommended on a rainy day unless you’re ready to be soaked. But lovely to see different parts of the city and explore.

Short easy ride via mangroves and bush. Great for young kids with bikes.

A good trail with serene scenery. Stopped at the bird sanctuary for the 10:30 a.m. feeding of the tekahē. Not as long as it advertises. Only 7km round trip.

Nothing special, maybe good for running. Nothing to see around just a straight path.
