Lovely track, great views, interesting limestone formations. The side track (not sign posted) to a rocky outcrop is a must! Unfortunately mostly in shade in winter.

definitely a lovely view

Great views, amazing blue Cristal clear water

A beautiful hike that is on the shorter side but very steep. We hiked up and rode the gondola down. Lots of shade along the way, very little sun exposure. Worth the work to get up to the summit without taking the Gondola.

Awesome views from the top!

Great

The hike to Brewster Hut (parking at Fantail Falls) is not easy as this suggests. It’s incredibly steep the whole way, but you’re rewarded with incredible views of mountains, a glacier and waterfalls. The hut itself is pretty nice with a large deck area. There are no stoves but there is drinking water available. There is a river crossing right at the beginning so don’t bother putting your shoes on till your across. It would be difficult to cross following a heavy rain. Follow the orange triangles on trees all the way up!

I really liked this hike but I recommend starting along the water first. We completed this in under three hours and that was including stopping to take pictures. This hike gives you scenery of the lake, a small waterfall, some wild flower and mountains.

Great Walk though old bush down to the beach, then less than 10 mins to caves. Get there 1 hr before low tide. Doesn't take long to explore cave, but you must be out of the car park by 2 hrs after low tide. $5 for adults $1 kids. Check their website for low tide times.

Nice trail through great natural bush. Some stairs. Beautiful cascading waterfall.

Short easy walk to a very cool place

Lots of sealions and birdlife around. Short but fun walk. highly recommended.

First, this trail is definitely MODERATE on the harder end. It’s breathtakingly beautiful and so worth the effort. There’s a lot of steep uphills, but it pays off with a beautiful view of the lakes. Spectacular scenery on the way up, and good amount of shade. The cabin is also awesome to see near the top, though it wasn’t clear to us where the trail went from there. Walk behind the cabin and you’ll see the bridge. Would definitely do again!

Used an acess off the road. Moderate to easy trail but there is alot of uphilll. Well marked and nice views of streams waterfall. Cabin at the top is interesting

The start point on the GPS was off, but if you are driving away from Queenstown you will see a clearly marked sign (~1-2 km beforehand) on the left hand side of the road for the trailhead and parking. Was going to track the trail but had zero cell service. :(

Very beautiful hike! While the path itself is easy to negotiate (no bouldering required and clearly marked), it is a steep climb. I hike quite a bit and would rate the exertion level a moderate. But well worth the remarkable views! Saw a bit of wildlife too! Highly recommend.

Go early, place is great, easy point of interest and great view. Southern point of nz. Bring a camera or some binoculars so you can see all the seals on the rocks. Hard to see but there are a ton of them.

Easy down and back. The highlight is the caves. Go in low tide, then explore the cave. There is a second cave, check it out, but you will get wet. Bring your camera.

Great quick way to start your day!

Great views.

The Chasm Path is a well-maintained gravel walkway through lush green forest to a series of bridges overlooking the Cleddau River with its powerful waterfalls and smooth round potholes carved by the swirling water. Only a few miles from Milford Sound and just off the main Milford Road, this is a short but worthwhile stroll.

Tiki Trail is a short, steep climb to the top of Queenstown’s Skyline Gondola. Although mostly wooded, it allows occasional glimpses of the scenery below, and the panoramic view from the gondola viewing deck is well worth the hike up. The trail intersects frequently with a number of downhill mountain bike trails, so keep an eye out for mountain bikers. The upper section of the trail follows the Skyline access road to the gondola.

Okay I don’t know where you hike ..Himalayas maybe but this trail is not easy . It’s a very steep vertical climb that regardless of fitness level will give you a solid workout. The views are awesome and it’s definitely worth the trip but short doesn’t mean easy . I think if you just want to see the views and walk leisurely I’d take the Gondola up then walk around the summit then walk the trail down

Good for a morning wakeup. Short semi strenuous loop.

Good views and beautiful scenery, but note that although the path is clearly marked there is quite a bit of uphill walking included in the hike.

The weather was great and the scenery was better, this is a very popular walking track. With many places to stop and enjoy the view!
