Great trails. First 2.5 k pretty much straight up. Good workout! Then eases for next 1.5 along ridge (all exposed) beautiful views

I started off on deadman’s track but it was to wet, so I continued on rangiwahia hut track which is much better

Nice track, we did it at the sunrise, but it was cloudy some times

Was a bit out there and some how very few people have heard of this. Seeing Erdoras/Rohan was simply magical for my and I, so I would highly recommend this.

Nydia bay is amazing!! The track itself was great and so was the doc lodge, which sleeps 50, but my husband and I were the only ones there!

I’m gonna come back and upload and better loop here, this one is short and misses the view of the lake

nice walk if you only have a hour. as with all NZ walks its half as long as the sign says. good grind up and nice track. can imagine it would be quite slippery in the wet

Nice easy loop through the bush great place to take your dog for a walk!

I started at noon and ended up taking the alternative trail as the tide was a bit high at a certain point to walk around the coast and I don't wanna get wet. It is possible to continue and walk around the coast if u take off your shoes at that point, the water is only about waist high if you don't mind getting wet.

Awesome spot to take the dog for a walk, lots of small scenic tracks through bush

Petite randonnée sympathique et facile dans les pinnacles.

Great walk, a beautiful day with great views. Only for those who tramp regularly.

Dog-friendly short hike.

Amazing views- lots of up and downs, more of a moderate hike than easy. Check tides before you go as there is an alternate route for part of the track at high tide near the ferry that is a bit of a scramble.

Great trail!!!!!! Best adventure of my life Lived in Wellington since I was 3 and only just made the trip.. 10/10 will be back, great sunny day for it and a nice quiet walking track with minimal traffic.

An ok walk - good for long duration low intensive exercise as it's largely flat (except at the end). Lots of birds to see, particularly fantails which was sweet, but you do not get to see much of the river! You're mainly walking on a track in the bush and you walk along the highway for about 2km, it's not very peaceful which is why I only rated this walk 3 stars.

Gorgeous walk! Great bang for your buck for an accessible walk right from the ferry. Definitely athletic with lots of ups and downs. A perfect day.

Beautiful hike. However, one segment was closed.

Nice short and easy trail up to both the base of the pinnacles through a river wash. Grom there, you can go up to a viewpoint for a fantastic view of these formations. I'd recommend you go right at the intersection, and head up to the viewpoint after you've been to the base. The climb down is gradual and mostly staircases that way, while you only have a few of those on the way up.

Beautiful trail. You can walk right down to the seafront and then back up the steps. Gorgeous sea views, recommend going for sunset, evening. Stunning.

Great views! Can really picture the LOTR being filmed here. Take the trail to the left as the trail to the right will likely be flooded (like an actual river running through it) if there’s been even a little rain. The left track has bridges allow for a safe crossing.

Great for a day hiking

Fantastic walk to the top of a hill in between the mountain ranges to view the Lord of the Rings landscape. Free camping nearby at Lake Camp. Gravel roads may be a bit difficult to navigate, drive slowly. Got there around 8:30am and nobody was there, definitely worthwhile as when we returned at 10am a couple more people arrived. Would recommend to go back down the same route as we ended up a bit lost through the stream!
