amazing views and trails are well marked. absolutley loved it

This trail is fairly easy. The hardest part is coming back up on the other side of Taylor’s mistake. However there is plenty of shade and places to rest if you need it. Cool to see what’s left of some of the WWII buildings and read a little history. Every part of this trail gives you a scenic view of the water.

Nice work with good views. Reasonably flat

I would recommend this trail who is looking for a dog friendly trail. Easy trail. We went there early morning at 7:00 am and it was pleasant and no crowd. No fishing and people were doing kayaking.

Awesome walk...nice to go after 7 in summer..kids friendly

Beautiful view of the coast which was half of the trail, nice surprise with the lava caves!

A nice urban walk with two climbs

Nice walk up the summit, but the bit between McKenzie bay and the ferry was awful. Minimal shade, nowhere to stop and sit, views got tedious, and walking along a flat dirt road.

Very good walk, starting at the Water fall gully carpark, the very well maintained track follows the stream up the gully to a lookout point with awesome views of the harbour. The track then follows the cliff passing the Pink Beach and down to the main beach. we opted to take the steep grass track back up to the lookout and return via the Waterfall gully so we could enjoy the Bush and stream. Total walk 8kms. Next time we'll try the coastal walk.

I regularly do this one from the Bethells side to the falls and back via the stream. A relatively easy walk that can be done in a morning leaving the afternon to do many other nearby activities. There are many stream crossings and at times it can be above the knees, though it is slow moving. A few deep pools allow a cool off dip too.
As at 12/18 this track is open.

Not happy with that. So many unmarked deadends, a lot of woods are gone, stony roads only, no maps here. Public trails are much better.

Great walk from Long Bay to Okura estuary and back. Good path all the way, great views of Whangaparoa and Rangitoto, breezy up on the tops but also some lovely sheltered bays for a break or a swim.

Nice walk.. Short walk but full of stairs. I would rather categorize this as Moderate..

couldn't find any trail here

Amazing walk. direction signs are not up to the mark. wise option is to get the trail map available in the information centre there.

Easy, flat track until nearing the Arataki centre where there is a short steep section. Had more people than expected but not enough where it feels invasive. One part of the track is closed (it was a detour/alternative route) but the route recorded on this app is all currently open. Lots of bush and some nice views. Lots of tuis! We were also surprised with a stick insect in the middle of the walkway!

Get a whole new perspective of Auckland, on a clear day the 360 views are beautiful at the top. Great way to see volcanic stone on this iconic island.

Did the loop, quiet a bit more in and out of the stream then we realised but super fun!

The sand dunes are amazing, I recommend going over them rather than following the river on the way to the lake, you can see then how steep the dunes are into the lake. Around lake is a nice easy walk, or quick run. It's refreshing to walk in the river on the way back. Your shoes will get wet. Do some drills running up dunes, and boogie board done, excellent workout. In summer best to go early or late in the day.

Stunning views!!!

Nice easy walk. But lovely starter to Nz Forrest’s

An easy walk and amazing views! Loved the gannets and the sunset!

Absolutely beautiful scenery . Great walk for beginners.

Nice moderate walk, lots of wildlife such as quails, pukekos, parrots etc. Amazing views! I enjoyed the small nature trail before the coastal track begins

We did a loop, starting from Goldie Bush Walkway, dropping us down into the stream where we crossed the stream via a suspension bridge. The trail then countoured up through kauri and fern forest. It then connected to the Mokoroa Falls Track. Then it goes downstream until it reaches a cliff lookout into the falls. We took the stairs down into the bottom of the falls. On the return, we followed Mokoroa Stream Route , crossing it several times, at times waist deep, and quite muddied at the entry and exit points along the stream. There is also a jumping spot into a large deep pool. Overall, a wonderful experience especially at the stream section with many swimming holes and cascade falls.

Miles of wildflowers. We walked a total of 12 miles, 6 out and back, but the trail is much longer. Mostly a moderate trail, with a couple spots of old growth areas that had rocky boulders that make you use your arms to climb up and down. Great Lake views. Very nice coffee house at the base “sign of the kiwi” with great burgers. We did not try the ice cream next door.
