Unknowingly did a mix of Piwakawaka and Puweto Loop.

Could spend the whole day here exploring the shore, peninsula and farm land. Good for the whole family.

Lovely walk across farm land, out onto the peninsula with beautiful views out over the hauraki gulf. Lovely weekend walk. Fun for the family. Easy track. Well sign posted. Lots of seats and areas for a picnic. Rather exposed, so be sure to take a hat and sunscreen.

beautiful hike rating it a 3 because a lot of the views are the same and i like when hikes are more mixed. there's no shade so make sure you wear sunscreen a hat and bring water. theree are lots of picnic tables there to stop and have some lunch with a view. there's also some toilet before the hike too.

under watercare control, it's open when it suits them, there's not official dog access. Not truly public

Muddy no scenery or birds. Good outing though.

Use app to make sure you take the right road. No viewing points. Ok for a walk close to town.

Good marked tracks with beautiful views of ocean, farms & greenery. Took us 3 hours to walk the entire loop with a toddler in a carrier. Brings lots of water, snacks & sun protection.

awesome, so beautiful

Super views

Walking the farm loop and all the way to the lookout at a reasonable pace took 2.20hrs. Stunning views and the track is well sign posted. We walked this track end of July...parts of the farm were a bit muddy but easily managed with sports shoes. Bonus at this time were the lambs....a few cows and sea birds if you go all the way to the point

A trail through working farm park. Some of it is via trails which go through active paddocks so can be muddy in wet conditions. Plenty of bird wildlife along foreshore and Mangere lagoon. Sleep, horses are part of this farm park which give a fun element for kids. Trail ideal for both walking or biking. Various linking paths are available outside Ambury Regional Park.

Beautiful views on a nice day!

awesome walk with views

Pūweto Loop 2.5 hours, 10km The longest of the loop tracks, Pūweto Loop follows Waitawa Bay Track onto Pāwhetau Pā Track crossing the park road at the main entrance and joining Farm Track to go up the open ridge-line, with views across neighbouring farmland and down between tall eucalyptus trees to a picnic area with toilets. It then joins Valley Track to take in the wetland area before rejoining the Farm Track up and along the ridgeline to join back onto Waitawa Bay Track for the final descent to Mātaitai Bay.

amazing views and trails are well marked. absolutley loved it

Not happy with that. So many unmarked deadends, a lot of woods are gone, stony roads only, no maps here. Public trails are much better.

couldn't find any trail here

Like walk in the park easy peasy

Fairly easy track but has some seemingly never-ending hills. Some parts of the pathway are scenic but many parts are simply a department of conservation access road Didn't see a single other person during my walk
