it was a really nice and quite walk, lots of different environments and a little bit of hills. would recommend it if you want to have a nice afternoon walk. also pretty nice that it's close to the train station

Very nice MTB trail for not really experienced cyclists. Really nice in terms of length and course

Not bad for a dutch trail. Being from the Netherlands, I find it too flat but mostly too organised here, in general. 5-10% of this trail contains straight pieces of trail of about 300m in length, so that it's no surprise what you will see. All in all, there are spots in the center of the trail where it's pretty quiet (you can only hear the birds) and where you don't hear the car traffic (you'll hear and see cars in the easternmost part). Follow the dark yellow/light green trail stripes on the signs, these are for this specific trail (indicated as 12 km length on the various points where you can commemce the trail ).

Nice and easy walk through the forests of Lage Vuursche, passing some 3000-year-old barrows along the way. You hit the little village of Lage Vuursche at the half-way point (good stop for a drink or bite) and end up close to a nice cafe. We combined it with camping closeby at "paalkampeerplaats" Kaapweg, a free little camping site in the woods (no facilities at all, meaning that only nature-enthusiasts use it).

In the 'Bloeidaal' nature reserve we have left the route for a while and have gone straight through the area instead of largely along it. The paths meet again just before the Koedijkerweg. Many herons seen on this first spring day of the year!

Short route for when you don't have much time or with children. The route can be halved.

Easy route over wide paths. The route runs past Drakensteyn Castle, after which it takes you to the village of Lage Vuursche before there is another route sign.

Nice walk, but the part along the lake is on tarmac and forbidden for dogs. During the rest of the walk dogs must be kept on a leish.

Fairly long walk around the Soesterduinen and adjacent forests. With this route you do not go through the dunes but along it, via wooded banks. The route has 2 points where you can choose a short distance.

Loved it! Great landscape with good views along the way. Multiple parking areas connect to the trail. The area is very popular with people walking their dog.

Very nice and pretty trail through 'Boswachterij Austerlitz'. Dogs can walk off the lease here. We were lucky enough to see a deer during our walk.
