Mohare Danda Trek, aslo known as the Nepal Eco Trek, is a backpacking route situated between Annapurna Himalaya and Dhaulagiri just southwest of the famous Poon Hill Trek. This natural trekking route includes suspension bridges and sweeping views of the Himalayas. This newly popular circuit trek is part of a local community initiative in the region of the Annapurna Himalayas. To get the the beginning of the trekking route you can take the hourly Pokhara Beni bus, then local taxi or walk to Galeshwor, the trailhead is 1 km past Galeshwor. Sleeping accommodations on night 1 and 4 can be done in homestays, while 2 and 3 are at the community lodge. This trekking route travels through Mohare, Nagi, and Banskharka where trekkers can experience local nepali communities that offer tea houses, nepalese food from local organic farms, and views of the Kali Gandaki River.
