Somewhat boring, it’s very flat and is just a dirt road that goes back to a zip line place.

una ruta bastante buena, hay partes faciles para transitar y otras medias complicadas, mucha piedra suelta pero todo vale la pena, cuando llegas a la cima, animense a ir¡¡¡

Easy trail around the Lagunas with wonderful views. I have visited this place four times, this time with a friend on her first visit, we enjoyed a lot!

Completed this Mar.7/20. Great acclimatization hike. We actually took a slightly shorter route by going out & back from Pico de Fraile, instead of doing a loop back to the trailhead. Found an air bnb experience hosted by Carlos, I was able to join. For only $75usd the price included transportation to & from CDMX, park entrance fees, mountain guides, all equipment needed, lunch, water, sports drink, & dinner at the end of the day at a restaurant on the way back! Amazing value, highly recommend. The only setback is a slow pace depending on your group.

Very nice

Had a great morning on this trail. Trailhead is ~100 yards before the gated entrance to the hotel/community. Steep climb up.

Enjoyably quiet trail which takes you most of the way to San Pancho/ San Francisco. There are a number of offshoot trails which run alongside the main trail from Sayulita and it’s easy to pick the wrong one. They all lead to the same place at the end of the day but may add a little length to the trail with some extra switchbacks. The final section on the way to San Pancho is fairly exposed and runs alongside the highway.

Recomiendo esta ruta por los maravillosos paisajes aunque es difícil vale mucho la pena.

Be careful. My friend and I got threatened by a guy with a knife. He wanted us to give him money. We had to give him 1 500 pesos. The view is nice but really not worth it.

nice hike up from Higuera Blanca. The first 2/3 or so is really easy then gets progressively steeper towards the end. the view at the end is worth it though. there were two spots that could leave people confused as to where to go. there first is after you get onto the planned road after the initial trail from town. you need to cut back off the road at a gate with a spot on the side to walk around. able the gate is a sign in Spanish saying to keep the gate closed due to cows. the second is making sure to take the trail to the right just after the first "view point" where there is a gap in the trees to see the beach and ocean below. just up from there is the trail up. it is marked also with ribbons.

This is a very difficult climb. I could not reach the top due to needing to catch a flight. 4 hours got me about 2/3 to the top. The lower section could be considered moderate difficulty and has more people on it. Above 1/3 of the climb there were not many people (on a Tuesday).

great hike. take a taxi to hacienda Jacqueline - that is the trail head. you will go through a gate that says do not enter. it's okay! then you will go through two barbed wire fence gates. also okay. download this route to your phone as the signal is sketchy. if you do all these things you can totally do this hike on your own. tell the taxi driver to pick you up at hacienda Jacqueline 2-3 hours after he drops you off, depends how long you think it will take. it took us just under 2 hours.
