Nice views before you reach the top also it’s another cool view of the city, the stone tracks makes a little hard the beginning, enjoy the walk!

Map is accurate and so are directions.Beautiful views, you can take this trail in to town too at the connection point (there are placards at the top near benches).
Impossible to get lost.
Great run!

Its a great trainning run because of the high altitud and the scenes are beauriful. I strongly recommend if its your first, to go with a group or partner. There’s parking in the nearby houses.

A great hike up and over the coastal hills down to the walls of the old port used to ship out sugar. The walls in the Port itself were built in the late 1800's. At one time there were 8 sugar mills loading their product here and sending it out to sea. They lasted until the area ran out of water in the 1950's. Hurricanes have ravaged the road but it is still hikable but a rocky scramble in some areas. Glad I finally got down and walked the ancient walls next to the beautiful little protected bay they were built in.

Drove across Baja to visit a friend and do these trails with a dead phone... Great trail system for down here...

I decided to walk better than drive on this incredible road contemplating the beautiful landscape full of plants and trees. The countryside, the waterfalls and the pools are a fascinating natural beauty, I really enjoyed this incredible place. I will definitely come back again.

There is a whole trail system here. Easy climb up in the foothills. You can connect to a few different trails. I took a 6.1 mile trip and it was fantastic.

Beautiful view and surrounding vegetation! The road is a little uncomfortable to walk on at parts as it is similar to cobblestone, but the view is worth it!

I made this hike in september from La Mision to El Porvenir and have to say that is a good hike for training and exercise(need good condition), but in my opinion there isn't anything interesting to see.

The Sierra de Santa Rosa is an ideal place to hike and enjoy nature. I could not imagine how close to the city of Guanajuato in Mexico there would be such a fascinating place, everything there is beautiful. I hiked on this mountains and visited the little town of Santa Rosa de Lima during the rainy season, but it was a day without rain with a pleasant climate, and a little fog that gave a very nice touch to the landscape. The dam is an amazing place, here I was resting and enjoying some pleasant moments of quietude. Definitely I will come again and explore more trails of this beautiful sierra.

This Trail has lots of surprises, initially with an uphill very tough; once you get to the flat surface after this we had some bushwhacking. You have one cave once the Rock formations start. The interesting part there is lots of butterflies and mosquitoes on the very top.
Second opinion by Alan Antares: It’s a good Trail for training, to begin you will have a steep slope followed by flat-topped mountain where you could see lots of desert vegetation all the way to the top, also you can have a wonderful morning view of Tijuana City and some part of the San Diego CA Area.
