Muy malas condiciones el camino

Hermosa ruta para caminar en la naturaleza. Vas a necesitar buena condición física.

This was an incredibly picturesque trail. Anyone who starts from Las Animas instead of Boca is missing out. Yes, there is a cantina on the waterfall but buying a water of water gets you access. Although, pretty sure you could swim up the river and not pay to use the access point. Having bathrooms and changing rooms for wet clothes was well worth it. Out of respect for others, if you do this trail, please don't take donkey or horse. It isn't difficult elevation or terrain wise and the animal feces takes away from the experience.

Find nacho he has horses but he will also go for a scenic hike 200 pesos per person. He is the most fun and will take you where there aren’t other tourists.

Very flat and wide open. I suppose that’s why it’s rated easy

A challenging trail. Have water on you. Go during winter. I did not make it to the top due to a late start. You must plan it well if you want to get to the peak. A morning arrival is good. I went through Mexicali. TRUMPS WALL is under construction so take advantage now before it takes away the scenery. There are illegals there but they don’t harm anyone. However be cautious. For the most part, they won’t bother you. Take a friend or someone with you. It’s a dangerous trek. Have fun. I’ll go back before Winter is over to avoid the heat.

Worth the effort! A very clear path the whole way, albeit a bit rocky in some places. The last 50 feet down to the beach is down some sharp slippery rocks, but we all made it just fine. Definitely better to wear close toed shoes, bring a hat because there’s no shade at all, and bring 2 bottles of water, and bring your swimsuit! Would definitely do this hike again, the views were unreal. Still worth it, even though we saw no sea lions on this day.

The trailhead is under an overpass. There were several carloads of sketchy-looking guys drinking beer out of paper bags and blasting their stereos under the bridge when we got there. (The cops came and rousted them as we were walking away up the canyon.) The trail itself is a wide, washed-out, muddy Jeep trail, covered in tire tracks and ruts. Honestly, it looked like it would have been pretty fun for off-roading, but it really wasn’t a good spot for hiking. So far, maybe two stars... But then there’s the trash: the whole trail is littered with beer cans, food wrappers, and broken bottles. My daughter and I kept waiting for it to get better with every turn, but we turned back after less than a mile.

Fun trail. Not very hard but a nice work out. Didn’t see any sea lions, but still rewarding with some stunning views. lose rocks at points but I did it comfortably in trainers and my partner in sandals.

great morning hike. we went to the beach at the end of the trail and found the trail easy to follow, though a bit steep in a couple spots. On the way back we did the side trail to see the sea lions, that part is a bit of a scramble at times with long spines cactus right along side the rough trail. it was worth it though - the views are fantastic and in addition to the sea lions we saw at least 6 whales spouting and coming to the surface. Wear a hat and good hiking shoes and bring plenty of water.

Pet friendly if you own a mountain goat. Not for the faint of heart.

The coordinates put you in the middle of cow farms- NOT on a trail or anywhere near access to one.
