My husband and I camped out here the past 3 weekends. The lake and camp ground are wonderfull. Its small and not super busy, we always camp in the primitive section. Access to the trails are very easy to get to. There are several different points you can start depending on how far you want to go. We did the shortest section the first weekend, the longer of the two on the second weekend, and the entire loop last weekend. We both agree we aren't in the best of shape, but the roots and hills on this trail (Michael Tygart Loop) are pretty rough for mountain biking. We had to walk our bikes a good part of the way. There are some interesting things around mile 2 thru 3 (begining at the maraina), where you can walk a short distance off the trail and see some abandoned homes built in the late 1800's. We got to go inside one and look around. There are horse trails, a boyscout tropp camp, and really nice views.
