Miles Lawson reviewed Mount Muller Trail

I did this trail clockwise so I could get the tough part out of the way first. You get on top after about 2.3 miles of climbing, but from then on it is fantastic! Incredible views and I had lunch at Jasmine's Meadow, overlooking the valley with a view of Lake Crescent. The trail is well marked and I saw no places where the trail had slid away (as someone previously reported), so they obviously have fixed it. So many variations of wild flowers that I kept stopping to take pictures! Awesome place.

We wanted to take an easy day hike to simply enjoy the beautiful day and this trail did not disappoint! Absolutely beautiful views of Lake Crescent and the majestic mountains surrounding. We entered via the west end and the trail meanders along the shore with so many great views. If you want an easy hike/walk that is guaranteed to leave you de-stressed and grateful for our beautiful world, this is a great choice!

This trail winds through the forest near Forks, WA, and is a hike to take if you want solitude. I have been on this trail numerous times and have never met another person. If you want majestic views of valleys and mountains, this is NOT the trail for you as the entire hike winds through thick timber and sometimes thick brush.

This is an awesome trail that is lightly traveled; however, just recently the road to the trailhead has been closed due to the entire hillside giving away, so at this point you cannot even drive to within 5 miles of the trailhead. The Forks newspaper reports that a fix to the road is months away, so check before heading there. The road in question is called Undi Road.

The views are worth the effort! There is a rope at the top to assist you for the last part and the first part of your descent can be unnerving.
