The Temescal Canyon Loop trail has sun, shade, a waterfall, Skull Rock, cool temps and ocean views. The trail is lovely and somewhat challenging. There is also a lesser known tail called the Rivas Canyon Trail that leads to Will Rogers State Park and a tour of his home. Check out my Temescal Canyon video and Rivas Canyon on Youtube by searching my user name skipapa123.

Solstice Canyon is beautiful, close to the ocean with cool temperatures, interesting rock formations, plenty of deer, a good waterfall, and several ruins of homes that have burned in wild fires. The trails include shade and full sun. Check out my Solstice video on youtube by searching for my account skipapa123.
