For an easy trail, this one offers a lot...super impressive saguaros all along, and lots of other native flora with good signage for identifying. Lovely view and benches at the end make for a nice quick stroll and place for a snack.

Incredible hike. The falls are well worth the effort, and they are really flowing right now! Add to that the beautiful wildflowers and stunning vistas, and what is there not to like about this hike?! Well, there are the eight water crossings, but with the right shoes you can easily wade across. $6 for the Bear Canyon shuttle shaves two miles off this hike. Worth it to save the energy of walking the paved road.

Gorgeous loop trail best done in late afternoon when the low sun lights up the mountains and lots of the trail is shaded. Especially nice when the water is running, which it is now, and if Creek Trail is inaccessible, Bluff Trail makes a good alternative route.

I love this trail! For an unsigned trail not on the map, it is surprisingly well maintained and easy to follow. Lovely falls with a pool lie at the halfway point (at least right now), and the no-dog zone begins just beyond that, making this whole loop dog-friendly. This trail is just as nice as the Canyon Loop, but far less crowded.

This is a really fun and easy trail that kids will LOVE. If you start at the northern picnic area you get to descend the steel staircase into the canyon and then meander through the alien landscape. Chances are in this remote location you will have the area mostly to yourself. Once you get to the southern end of the trail, you can explore the small slot canyons and feel like you are on a Star Wars planet! Highly recommended.

If you’re looking for a quick jaunt in Sabino Canyon, this is a good choice. You’ll spend most of your time on roads, but the cut across on the Bluff Trail is a really pretty stretch. A nice walk for those in a hurry.

Not really a hike so much as a pleasant walk out to an overlook with stunning views. Well worth the stop.

So many different route maps here, though the 8b just goes straight across from the Apache Trailhead to the top of 36th. Though not long, this is a tough trail, with a steep and treacherous climb on either side of the ridge. I would rate it at the high end of moderate. Views from the bench at the top are unbeatable, though, and worth the effort. Once over that ridge in one day was enough for me, though, so we took the 36th St trail up around to the 8 for an easier route back.

Really gorgeous area and a well designed trail system that allows for a variety of routes. Some rocky areas, but well maintained overall with good signage. Great place to walk your dog, though there are no facilities at the trailhead--not so much as a trashcan--so be prepared to pack out waste. Plenty of parking, though, which is good, as this seems to be a popular spot.
