Great hike - waterfall was running enough to create a pond for my dog to play in - it’s a short hike but lots of beauty out there

Very easy short flat trail - not a lot to see but very good for beginners

This was a pretty nice hike - not a lot to see but since the woods are very thick I think I will visit in the fall when the leaves are colorful and I might like it better

Not a bad hike - not very long - signage is poor to non existent- when you first head in the trail splits at the area where you see some red gates - if you go that way you will see the cabin and a lake but the trail basically ends there and you will need to turn around and head back up the other way - once you are on the loop part of the trail there are a few side trails that you can take - one goes to the creek and another to a lake - both are worth seeing especially the lake, but again they both dead end and you will need to backtrack to get back to the loop

Excellent hike - a bit muddy in spots but well worth it - the river over looks were great

Just hiked this area with my dog and had a great time - I brought a copy of the area map with me and this made it easy to get around - I started off on the yellow trail (going clockwise to avoid the steep hill at the beginning of the hike) - I then branched off to the red trail and then the purple trail - this eventually took me back to the red trail and then back to the yellow loop. When I got back near the beginning I headed over to the Dogwood Trail - I did it counter clockwise - it got a little confusing after crossing the wooden bridge but I stayed to the left and found the trail marker to head up into the woods and complete the loop down by the creek -

Great scenery in this area - make sure you do both sides of the river and go all the way to the dam on both sides - the one side will take you to an old mine entrance

Great place to hike - was a little muddy in spots but nothing extreme - great place to take pictures

Good trail - rather steep at the beginning of the trail - can see the old caves but they are fenced off now so you can not go in them anymore like in the good old days

Easy trail - part if it is paved - one area has 48 steps you have to climb if you come from the office area starting location

Good trail - fairly steep in some areas - branches off to trail among the trees or you can do the entire loop without doing the branch trail

Pretty easy as the trail is mostly flat - it follows the railroad for awhile then heads next to the Meramec river

Needs better signage for hiking trails but overall the park was nice

Trail was ok - nothing too exciting - signage was terrible - sometimes it was very hard to figure out which way to go but it was nice being out in the woods with no one else around.

Hit this trail after taking the yellow blazed trail down from the shelters - would have been nice to have better signage to tell you which way to go when the trail forked on the Mudlick trail but there were just yellow arrow signs pointing in both directions - so based on information from a hiker I saw earlier I was able to choose correctly and headed left up to this area and was rewarded with this cool fire tower. Once completed I headed back down the Yellow Mudlick trail to the fork in the trail where I continued on. I could have continued in the fire tower trail but it was just a gravel road and I wanted to hike in the woods.
