Nice mosaics and a great view from the park at the top.

Beautiful park, but obviously very busy when the weather's nice.

Nothing special, but can be easily combined with the Golden Gate Park loop.

Stunning views of the Golden Gate! Walked from the Sutro Baths to the view point at the other side of Land's End, then carried on via Camino Del Mar to the trailhead of the Golden Gate Bridge trail from Baker Beach. Quite the hike if you combine the two!

Fewer people on this trail than the General Sherman Trail, but I'd still call ik "moderately trafficked". You walk along some huge Sequoia Trees with nametags.

This trail is nothing special: very busy and paved. But you get to see the General and it's also the starting point for several other trails. I recommend the Congress Trail.

Tom Ragaert reviewed Vernal and Nevada Falls via the Mist Trail

Be sure to wear appropriate gear for this one: a poncho/raincoat and decent boots. Because you will get soaking wet! We went up the Mist Trail to Vernal Falls and went back down via the winter route. The only downside is that the Mist Trail is very busy and you can only walk single file so you'll have to wait if slower people are in front of you.

Tom Ragaert reviewed Upper Yosemite Falls Trail

We arrived kind of late so we didn't make it all the way because it was getting dark. However, if you make it past the steep climb at the start, there are great views of upper and lower falls in the flat area just after Columbia Rock. We got up there in about 75 minutes and back down in 40. Pretty exhausting though.

Very crowded, but only takes about 20 minutes and you get a stunning view of the lower falls. Also: lots of spray right now.

Great hike. Start at the lower falls and work your way up. Watch for lizards and squirrels. Middle falls is the most spectacular in my opinion - the water is still pretty cold, but you can go for a swim there.

Could only do the very first part because of the snow and steep ramps but the views were amazing. You'll dig into the snow (about a foot) so it's pretty strenuous, but you'll probably be all alone.

Amazing views! The climb is pretty intense but it's well worth it. Really crowded today between 1 and 3PM but maybe that's because it's a Saturday. Try going on a weekday or before noon. We also came across 2.3 rattlesnakes (one was really small) so watch out for those, especially in the lower areas.

Didn't have enough time to hike the entire trail so we just did the first part down to the beach. Anyone who does this trail should stop there: it's gorgeous. At the far side of the beach there's a nice waterfall and some tidepools. Go early though cause it was already pretty busy at 11AM. Popular spot for surfers too.

Another recommendation to follow this trail as far as you can. You'll get stunning views of steep cliffs and sea stacks. Watch your footing!

Very popular because of Haystack Rock: obviously very busy. There are a lot better hikes in the area. Snap a pic with Haystack Rock and get out ;)

An enchanting part of the world. The only temperate rainforest in the world: a must see!

Awesome hike! The walk through the woods is already fantastic and you haven't even gotten to the good part yet. Was pretty calm: only ran into six other people.

Nice walk with great views of the Sound. Not exactly roughing it here with all the benches, markers and paved roads you have to cross, but you'd never guess you were only 20 minutes from downtown Seattle.
