All the trails are paved, but you can combine with the trail complex across the street and get a few miles in. You hike by a nice little lake and a lot of soccer and baseball fields...worth checking out.

Nice park but recently they painted very gaudy, bright blazes on trees and rocks on most of the trails. Whoever was in charge of this did a terrible job with far too many of them very close together.

This took away some of the natural feel of the park, but it is still nice with many side trails and different routes that one can make.

This is a nice enough little trail, but it is just too short to really get much of a workout or spend much time there, unless you want to walk in circles. But it's worth checking out at least once or twice, for sure.

This is my favorite of all the Chattahoochee National Recreation Area Parks in metro ATL. It has some nice hills, beautiful views along the river, and a good amount of total trail mileage. The bamboo forest is always enchanting and try to find the cave off a side trail. The only downside is that parking can be difficult during busy times. And one way roads in some areas to the parking area so can be tricky. But it's usually not an issue and definitely worth a visit.

I have done this one three times and when the trail is wet/muddy, I regret it and am nervous about slipping and getting hurt. However, when the conditions are dry, it seems like no big deal and I really enjoy myself. So definitely go after a dry period without any rain for a few days if possible.

Also if you have any microspikes or similar that you use in snow/ice, they will help on a trail like this where there are some steep areas. I don't there is any Class 3 climbing but some Class 2, here and there, but nothing major.

So this trail is kidn of overrated for being dangerous, but you still want to be very careful and avoid it when wet.

One of the best hikes I've ever done in my life and I've done quite a few. I hiked past Mono Pass a good bit and you get incredible views of the Sierra backcountry...just breathtaking. Plus the views on the actual main route are just unbelievable. You can also summit Mount Starr from Mono Pass if you want, but I will have to return to do that one.

There was still a good bit of snow on the route but it was hard packed and fairly safe, although wearing microspikes or similar is advised. Although I do that anyway on these trails with a lot of loose rock and gravel.

Mt Leconte is my favorite hike in the Smokies and in my Top 5 for the entire Southeastern USA. It is strenuous with about 3000' of ascent if you go to the summit, but well worth the effort if you are in condition for it.
