Peaceful, some wildlife to observe. Other visitors are respectful and friendly. Will come back here without question. It's clean and quiet, which is hard to come by.

Nice. Not spectacular, but a decent break from being immersed in nothing but city. You can't totally escape traffic noise but there is wildlife and greenery.

Why are there so many conflicting reviews about which direction is the steeper one? Is it left or is it right that is steeper???? It can't be both!

This waterfall is an unfortunate victim of the same thing as many local spots of this type. Graffiti on the boulders. It hurts my heart when I see it, because years ago this was not a problem in wild spaces. The hike is mostly easy, on the road. There is one sketchy spot that is on the side of a hill it curves around, and if you're not sure footed it could be tricky. I have a bad back and a bad knee, but I managed it. You want to wear hiking boots for safety, and trekking poles might help if you are uncertain.

No waterfall in this region is going to be too impressive in the middle of a drought in the middle of summer, but there was water flowing when I was there recently. It's nice as far as a spot to listen to the water falling, and take a few pictures… but as I said there is graffiti. The hike is not excessively difficult. Use bug repellent, or have a headnet, or possibly both. FLIES omg. The reviews I have read complaining about flies at Manker Flats Campground across the road are no joke. The flies are irritating as heck.

It's worth seeing if you've never been there but I can't say that I would take the time to go again now that I have.

I've been to this waterfall twice and it is enjoyable. It's a peaceful spot, especially if you get there early. There are plenty of places along the creek to sit and enjoy listening to the water. It is an easy hike, even suitable for children. Do however wear sturdy shoes - preferably proper hiking boots – so that you don't turn an ankle. You will be crossing a dry riverbed (dry as long as it isn't raining or flash flooding anyway lol), which is a rocky environment.

They prefer that you don't go past the observation point, but people do. There is nothing blocking you from doing it. I really recommend caution for a few reasons. The first is stupid people breaking glass bottles. If you are conscientious like I am, bring a trash bag and some heavy gloves and help with cleanup. Also be aware that the higher up you go, the more loose rock there is. There have been slides with resulting injuries and deaths. Do not push the limits of your capabilities and be aware not only of the environment but other hikers around you. Don't put yourself or anyone else at an unnecessary risk.
