This was a good hike with the family. We hiked it on 4/14/17 with two 7 year olds, a 3 year old and a 10 month old in a pack. The trailhead was a bit hard to find, even with really good directions. Once we found it thought we had fun hiking it, even the three year old made it. The arch at the end was neat. I'd recommend it and do it again.

Great hike. We did this on 11/8/15. We loved jumping off the falls into the pool. We also walked up past the falls about .5 mile ( take the left fork and climb up the old stairs) and found some rock slides we'd heard about. Fun to slide down a time or two. As everyone says, it's muddy.

What a great hike. Hiked it on (11/6/15). The waterfall was beautiful. If you want to miss the .1 mile of walking in the mud, park in the parking area and about 100 yards down from the mailbox you will see a chain link fence. There is a small hole in the side take the gravel road for about .25 miles and you will come out to a grassy area. Hike towards the mountains and then up the stone steps and you will be on your way. We all enjoyed the hike, mud and all and loved the waterfall at the end.

I hiked this today (9/26/15)with my husband and three kids (2, six year olds and a one year old in a pack.) While it's not really a steep hike, it was a little long for my kids. However the destination was a blast. We took and lunch and stayed and played in the pools for about 2.5 hours.

I hiked part of this trail today (8/27/15) with my three boys. (Two 5 year olds and an 18 month old in a back pack.) We hiked the longer, but less steep trail, to Bell Canyon Reservoir. When you get to the lake if you take a left and hike for about 100 feet, you come to a little trail that goes into the trees. The trail will take you to a bridge with a stream underneath it and you can take the trail all the way around the lake. The kids did great. The hike is about 2 miles RT, if you hike around the lake. A nice hike that is close to the valley and fun for the family.

I went on this hike with my two four year olds. The falls are tiny, but they didn't care, they still had a great time playing in the water. We hiked from the top down. We were in shade part of the way.

A group of us (2 adults and 4 kids, 2 babies in packs and 2 five year old's) went on this hike in July 2015. The beginning of the hike was kind of steep, but we all made it. We thought the lake and meadow area were pretty. A fun hike that isn't too long and close to home. I would recommend it.

I went on this hike today (6/5/14) with my two 5 year olds and we all had a good time. The trail is beautiful and the falls are even better. If you've never hiked this trail before, at the beginning make sure to take the middle path that goes past the ranger station and then when you come to the fork, take the right. That will get you right up close to the falls. Great hike.
