Enjoyed on Sept afternoon. Just off Meat Camp Rd. to the right toward Elk Knob. Trailhead easy to find with ample parking. Well marked trail with many switchbacks and rock stairs. Fairly well known and well travelled so you won't be alone. One overlook at mile marker 1, but you will want to go to the top for best views. Both North and South views with explanation of the other summits in range. 1 hr ish hike at steady pace.

Challenge to find trailhead but worth it. Traveling North on Three Top Rd from Todd, make a right onto Eller Rd just before the town of Creston. Eller immediately becomes Hidden Valley Rd. follow this road until it becomes gravel. It will change names to Oak and then Poplar. Ignore No Trespassing signs. You will pass through several neighborhoods. Approx 1 mi., From where the gravel began ,you will make a hard right turn on Poplar. Entrance will be on left marked with very small sign NWCRG. .4 mile to parking. Trailhead on right marked with low brown bar gate.
The trail is not marked and is not well travelled. However it is more or less an ATV trail that is wide and obvious. In first section you will cross three streams and then head up the ridge. Significant canopy and heavy brush in places. No view to speak of until the top. 2.5 mile to the summit. Approx 1200 ft elevation gain so was moderately strenuous. Very little flat areas on switchbacks to catch your breath. View from top is amazing in all directions. Approx 1 hr 15 min up and 1 hr down. Have fun. You will enjoy it.

Shortest route to summit of all time. 0.3 mi. Not much there in addition to cell phone tower. Nice view of town. The loop is an easy walk along the ridge, fairly close to the treeline on the way out so you can see the nearby hills. The spur to the Luther Rock is worth the few extra minutes. Several nice views from there. The second loop along Lost Province trail begins as a path through the woods along another ridge. At times you do com precariously close to cliff sides on the other side of the underbrush. Stay on the trail. Both loops return on the inside, lower part of the ridge. Nice walk through Oak tree forest. I am sure the Rhododendrons are beautiful in the spring. I am here in September. Nice walk.
