this is not an easy trail. moderate for sure. 3.6+ miles around the airport hill. very rocking and uneven footing. long up and down grade sections. on a 80° day bring plenty of water. absolutely great views of cathedral rock, bell rock, the souther landscape and the northern landscape. best place to park is half way up the road below the scenic lookout but there are only about 12 spaces. if you park up at the scenic viewing lot you must walk 1/2mi down and back to the trailhead. in addition the short peak trail at the begining is a sideline not to miss!

This trail is a neat hike up over a hump and straight down to the lookout. Its about .75mi from car to the edge and .75mi back. Once at the ledge you can climb up higher on the rocks to get the best views. You can see for miles and miles and straight down to the horseshoe. construction is under way for a viewing platform too. the walk back up the hill is a good incline and rocky uneven footing. also, parking can be very busy so plan accordingly and bring lots of water!

exactly what you'd expect. We'll defined trail, heavily trafficked, semi steep for first 2/3 then slowly levels off. get to the top and do the loop extension to get the best panoramic views. Lots of family's and kids so take water and goat your own pace you'll love it! parking at the visitors center can be tough...we fought for 45min to find a spot at 1130am.

Great trail. 5mi loop that has a great incline for your workout. The road is dirt and pretty wide and clear as hikers, walkers and bikers abound in this popular trail. Scenic views on a clear day even to downtown LA.

kick butt trail with lots of uphill grinds. many parts are eroded so be careful. Be prepared to enjoy the water when at the top. .8mi in you can cut off to ponytail and horsetail falls too.

great trail that is out and back. you have many destinations to chose from our just pick a distance and turn around. we went to the 3mi waterfall and bridge. it is equal up n down out and back. I love that compared to up out and down back trails. we did the mosses trail at .8mi and the 3mi out and 3mi back waterfall in about 2.5hrs. parking is packed afternoon in summer months!

great 1mi hike. pretty much straight up and straight down. there is a lookout most the way up which is great but don't forget to continue to the top.

great little trail. .8mi in and then out. the water falls are nice and the trail is equal up and down for the out and back legs. $25 to get through the gate just for the water fall. $35 to get into Yosemite and this is no Yosemite. would not do again.

This is a great trail. 1.2mi to the top with 13 switchbacks. Lots of people during summer months but not too much to enjoy the trip. When you reach the top there is plenty of spots to dip your self in the icy water to cool down. Photo on the way up and down and the lookout spot at the top! The pic of the waterfall before you start is the best!

very simple .3 miles walk loop. pretty and clean just too short. Great stop for fresh air if your companions have car sickness and need to stretch!
