Easy level trail with lots of birds to see from one end to the other. Walked this trail in January 2017 on a slightly foggy day but was still able to see plenty of water fowl. Wide trails all marked well with information and educational materials at the parking area. Peaceful walk.

Nice trail with plenty of level changes to work the back of the calves. Easy enough for younger one and wide enough for a whole family and some dogs. Great views and a few floating docks to stop and fish or grab a picnic lunch.

Great trail, not too steep but you can break off and get to steep parts if you like. The views from the top are amazing, you can see the whole valley! Rock formation on the way up are cool to look at and all different sizes and shapes.

Nice trail, wide most if the way then a bit more narrow going down to the falls. Nice place to skip rocks and look at stream life with little ones at the bottom. It is a bit steep going back so people were carrying their smaller more portly pups, but otherwise a decent trail for kids, adults and dogs. Nice views!

Beautiful trail with a ton of hills for a great work out. The bridge to Belle Isle is closed until May 1st during the weekdays but open on the weekends. Lots of different landscapes to see at several points on the 6 mile loop.

Great park with lots of trails. Most seem to be a bit over a mile and really well maintained so they are easy to walk with little ones. There's lots of wildlife by the shore and some great teaching opportunities with kids who want to explore. Some of the trails by the beach are under construction currently so you can only go so far, but in low tide you can get across some of the sand and further down the beach that way.

Stephanie Rogers reviewed Gunpowder Falls State Park: Jerusalem Village Trail with Jericho Covered Bridge Trail

The village was a nice start to the hike and gave us a chance to grab some lunch at the picnic area and see the old buildings. The covered bridge was also nice though it is pretty dangerous to get too close as there are cars speeding through and a wicked blind spot where the road curves before the bridge so be careful on foot. We did Little Gunpowder trail and walked quite a ways out. There were spots with many fallen trees that we had to climb over to continue on the path so the further you go out the more you may have to climb over things. We saw a snake or two down by the rocks when we climbed across the river to access the other side.

Really good trail for a challange or for a family loooking to take it easy with little ones. There are some really steep areas to push yourself but the actual trail to the falls is wide and pretty smooth for easy walking.
