Beautiful hike! Closer to 9 miles round trip. Lots of switchbacks but also levels out several times to give you a breather. The way down is tough on the knees since most of the Trail is paved. But the view at the top is worth it.

Did this Trail with light snowfall. Went early in the morning and was able to take our time on the chains. Recommend this Trail only if you have good HIKING shoes, no fear of heights and are willing to go slow and one by one at the end. The views are beautiful and it is definitely a challenge.
