Beautiful hike, with amazing views. It’s definitely a good leg burner. The weather was amazing today! The bottom half was completely dry, but the top half was muddy and snowy/icy. My micro spikes and poles definitely came in handy! Bring layers, the top is exposed and windy!

Love this hike, but I don’t think it should be rated as hard. It’s an easy to follow trail without nothing technical! Amazing views, and doable my most!

Absolutely beautiful trail! The entire hike up to the falls offers stunning views, from mountains, forests, and multiple waterfalls. Did this hike with two dogs and it was perfect for them, plenty of water along the way for them to drink and swim in. This hike is long, but easy.

Please do not underestimate this trail, just because it’s popular does not mean it’s easy. I saw way too many people up there with converse shoes, only a can of Sosa to drink, and shorts.. It’s still a mountain, and requires proper safety protocols! With that being said, if you are prepared for the hiking it is beautiful! I didn’t find it too difficult, but it is technical near the top. I saw many turn around before the summit- but it’s important to know your limits! The views were amazing, I could have spent all day up there, but it is absolutely freezing up there even with a little bit of snow!

Small but mighty mountain. It starts out in a flat road (with a beautiful waterfall on the side) and then begins to climb up. It’s a short climb, but steep -most of the elevation gain is within the short climb up to the top. Trail is well defined and easy until you almost reach the top where the trail splits off into a fork. I took the trail to the left which looked like the shorter of the two, but it is a scramble. This might not be the trail for everyone but it’s a decent little hike. I didn’t find the views as great as the neighbouring prairie mountain however.

Easy to follow trail, but there is a few turns you need to be aware of! Turn left after crossing the bridge across the river going up to old fire road, in about 20 minutes turn right slightly uphill into the forest (there is a large pothole in the fire road, turn just slightly before that). Continue up the trail, and at the fork in the road turn left at the rock arrow. It gets steep at the end, and the mud made it slippery- poles are definitely recommended. Views are the top are pretty good! Also, the river you get to cross is beautiful!

Definitely very muddy at the beginning of the hike, so come prepared with waterproof shoes & extra socks! The hike starts off with a short uphill climb, and then evens for a relatively steady hike. The summit is very windy, so dress warmly so you can spend lots of time and the summit and enjoy the views! Poles aren’t necessary for this hike, but would definitely come in handy. This hike offers amazing views, and I highly recommend it!!
